I just can't bring my self to actively root for the guy. He didn't give a shite about LSU and really didn't hide it. LSU was just a place for him to kill time til the draft.

Can you blame him?

And I fully believe he divided the locker room of what should have been a much better team when he was here.

Let's properly place some of the blame on the adults who couldn't reign it in.

So.. he wasn’t even a Tiger to me. Got no use for this guy. Couldn’t finish a year.

The fault lies with the ridiculous system devised by the blood-sucking NCAA and the NBA...the kid was forced into the situation and further forced by family connections to attend a school with a terrible coach with little to no talent around him.

He didn't have to play in college. He could have played overseas for a year. And like I said earlier, all the kids who only stay for 1 year at Kentucky at least acted like they gave a shite about the team. There was enough talent on that team Simmons was on to get to the tournament, but he gave zero fricks.

I never understood why so many of our moron fans hated on him for lsu underachieving while he was here when there's plenty of evidence that Johnny Jones is a shite coach.

Maybe it works the other way around.

He might have had full fan base support IF he acted like he wanted to be here.

Repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth. This view point never surfaced until after the Texas A&M blowout loss in the SEC tourney and the resultant failure to make the NCAA tournament. Now its cool to say it to act like eyou know what you are talking about.
