Ben Simmons
@BenSimmons25
I don't know why people try and blame the coach for every loss, a lot of the time it comes down to players executing plays and making shots

Ben Simmons
@BenSimmons25
All good teams have good players. There's only so much a coach can do. #FACTS

There is no excuse for a college level basketball team not being able to inbound the ball.there is no excuse for the appearance of lack of game planning and our team not running plays well. All the things i mentioned can be taught.

ETA: all team's dont have good players and Auburn is one of those teams.

I'm more curious about how much influence Mussleman has. If Jones gives him a lot influence in game planning and development, then this team is composed of some seriously low basketball iq's. If Jones doesn't, then it's time Mussleman helps run the show

Its not idiotic to want to beat Auburn in basketball. Hell LSU almost has more elite 8 appearances than Auburn has ncaa appearances.
Lsu elite eight-7
Auburn ncaa app-8

I watched the game and saw Auburn shoot the lights out of the PMAC from 3 point line, especially in the first half i.e. 50%.

I didn't see anybody sleep walking ,Auburn was on fire and their coach Pearl kept them pumped with his jacket removal routine.

But this is what ppl don't understand. Fans literally have NO IDEA what the play calls are. Who's to say the plays aren't being called and just not executed? How and why do people just automatically blame the coach

Johnny isn't to blame for every loss but he has to take some blame for losing to the worst teams in the SEC

Well there are obviously no in bounds plays called. I know this because everone fakes one direction, goes back and forth and can't get open. The deep man just runs further away from the basket.

He says the players have to execute the plays.But his coach said the other day that he doesnt run alot of sets because he wants the team to know what to do when the plays are taken away.lol thats just idiotic

Pretty much.

The players look tired. Probably because Jones uses his bench less than ANY TEAM IN D-1!!!

Hard for the bench to step up when they don't get off the bench.

Auburn has 3 good players. That's it though. The rest of their roster is rough.

Because the same crap is happening over and over

If he's teaching and they aren't performing, then find someone who'll execute.
