He's as good as any of those you mentioned.
We are going to miss him the most.

This has A Les Miles team written all over it.....

And once again you show how little you kmow about cfb. Miles scheme actually helped the defense. Even in 2014 when our offense was putrid we were still top 5 in the sec in TOP.

Your lack of sports knowledge is always amazing. Ive never met someone be so arrogantly ignorant in all aspects of life. Its glorious watching a person that doesnt know what an individual record is in cfb act like he is owning someone. 80% of the time youre not even responding to the topic of discussion.

o now we know who you are, hi Brady

So stating facts about Bradie James means im clearly Bradie James?
Nothing i stated above is an opinion.
There is massive portion of lsu posters on this site that think posting FACTS is somehow defending someone or being a pro-someone poster.

If i say Wednesday comes after Tuesday am i defending Tuesday?

Braddie James and Minter played with FAR SUPERIOR

Every single recruiting service says Beckwith has played with far superior talent.

James was a one man wrecking crew. Minter kind of came out of nowhere, no one thought he'd be able to fill the hole left by Sheppard.

I'd give minter a slight edge also because he played his assignments better. Not quite a physical specimen as Beckwith but is proving he's pretty darn good in the pros.

Beckwith is our defense and it showed when florida charged down the field in the 4th qtr and we couldnt stop their run.. that was all Beckwith... aranda will have to get white ready to replace him next year.. Beckwith is a beast and will be a all-pro in the NFL.. book it... hes prob more athletic than Bradie James..

I hear ya man james and Faulk were my alltime favorites at lb I had their ratings written down so I could put them on every new ncaa college fb game lol. But Beckwith has shown that without him in multiple seasons our d looks totally different and the way he crushes ball carriers is just unique. James was a great leader could lineup outside and rush the passer and had a long productive NFL career. I just have a hard time putting one ahead of the other.

If Beckwith is able to play every snap of the game against Alabama/Ref in 2014 then LSU wins.

Alabama/Ref were only able to score in 2014 if 1 of three things happened.

1. if that slow white middle linebacker played during a possession bama/ref would score

2. if Jennings threw an interception then the following possession bama/ref would score

3. if a ref made a one sided call against LSU the next possession bama/ref would score.

I consider the Ref who called a one sided penalty on Alexander to be a part of Alabama/Ref that beat LSU.

I see that more of an issue of our dt being subpar. If your dts cant shed blocks then the ability of your lbs get exposed. Like i said in graduated from West monroe a year before BJ so im biased but there hasnt been a lb like James at lsu since James.he was a playmaker from day 1.James played in all but 1 game as a true freshman. He was 1 of 2 tigers to register a stat in 7 different defensive categories.

I will admit that KB is more important to the success of our defense this season but i think that has more to do with our dts just not getting any push.

Beckwith never reached his full potential at LSU. Minter on the other hand maximized his talent while at LSU. Beckwith probably came in with a higher ceiling, but if we're talking production on the field and eyeball test. Minter had a far better career than Beckwith. Minter exploded off the screen for an entire season. Beckwith only flashed in spurts here and there while at LSU.

no fricking way.
Brady james ran with te and rbs in the nfl for a decade. His lateral soeed amd ability to turn and run is what kept him starting that long. Now KB is far more physical but he is not more athletic.imo anyway.

I don't think he has yet approached his true potential. Best days will be in the league.

Trev Faulk was good but he was no Michael Brooks. Many forget he tore his ACL ending his season in the 4th game against Florida. Started his soph jr years nd 4 games his senior year. If he plays his senior year easily 1st team all american probably SEC def player of the year and several more awards. He dominated games!

no way

Beckwith is very overrated but may be one of those guys like Hunter that is a better pro. He's been playing out of position, he should have always been an edge player. He'd be a 1st Rd pick had he went to Bama
