He has made headlines at least three times:

1 The Wisconsin offense that absolutely annihilated Nebraska
2 Turning Jacoby Brissett into a productive QB at NCST
3 The miraculous turnaround at Pitt

This is a good hire.

Yeah. I haven't known about him for years or anything but he popped up on my radar this year while I was watching the Pitt v Penn State game. I was a big Penn State fan before all of the Sandusky stuff and I still follow them.

PSU just couldn't stop James Connor that day. They couldn't stop him or anyone else who was carrying the ball. Pitt didn't even have 100 yards passing but still scored 42 points. Penn State has a pretty good defense but they just couldn't stop them.

He obviously is skilled, lets see what he can do. I would have rather had the oregon guy

Yes because I used to live in Pitt and have lots of friends there. Have been to a lot of games as well as WVU when it didn't conflict with watching LSU and cursing Les

If I had heard of him before about 30 days ago, I don't remember it.
He seems to be the flavor of the month.

No

No one knew much about him until he became the only offensive guy amongst the Broyles finalists
