Lehigh has the worst RPI in the whole tourney. Most people had UNC-W as a three seed and Tulane out of the tourney so, yes, it is a ridiculously easy regional. Doesn't mean we can't shite the bed, though.

I think we are an established #1 ranked team in the country. There is NO reason that will suffice if we don't win this regional. It's not cocky.

Kendall joked around in the podcast that Fitt would go with Lehigh.

Then they all 3 said this was the most unbalanced regional and LSU would win easy. None of UNCW's starters are good but Fitt said if the game is close late he would side with UNCW.

Then he picked 2 ACC teams to go across country and win regionals.

most people did not have Tulane out of the tournament, most people had them in. but LSU should still win.

Did he mean NCState and Clemson? IMHO NCState is a very capable team!

He had UVA winning at Lake Elsinore and Clemson at Fullerton.

I'm not a part of the team, so I can compare. We're the #2 overall seed, so we deserved an easy regional like this. Of course there are no guarantees and we could slip up, but we really should make it to the super. Last year you could point to Houston and say they should have hosted, but there's no team like that here.

yep you have a 3 seed who we have dominated this year. You have a team who would have been left out if they didn't win their conference tournament. Finally a team who has the worst RPI in the tournament.

The writer considers our regional as one of the "cakewalk" NCAA Baseball regionals. Do you agree?

I certainly disagree. Tulane and UNC Wilmington are capable of giving us problems, especially if our pitchers do not return to their regular season performances.

This regional is easy AF

the fact that you "dominated" us in the midweek games is irrelevant, and that would be the case no matter what the teams unless you are talking about games 4-5 in a tournament setting. we have decent but not great pitching but a weak offense. if you have a weak offense, then we have a chance, otherwise i'd say not. i'm assuming since you are the 2 seed you have a good/really good offense. i'm just happy we are back in it.

we haven't had a weak offense against weak pitching all season (minus the Southern game).

Meh, both Tulane and uncw are good teams but they have some major issues.

Could hardly cherry pick an easier regional. Tigers should roll through this one.

Who gives a frick what anyone else thinks? LSU has nothing to prove- especially in baseball.
Haters are gonna hate. Whether it's LSU, SEC, football, baseball. etc.
Screw em

yep. Many people gave Houston a legit shot to come in and win that regional. Nobody thinks any of these teams have a shot at winning it. We breeze through this without any problem.

I like the regional we got. I think we definitely got a favorable regional and besides Louisville, we might have the easiest. I also think Miami is pretty easy also. As far as TCU , I don't know if Stonybrook is tough but the name resonates obviously. But I would rather a few other 2 seeds besides NC State. But I really like our Regional, no disrespect to Tulane or UNC-W

And Pairing with the Houston regional might not have been my first choice but based on location it definitely is not bad. Overall it is a pretty good pairing. I am just glad we did not get Texas A&M because of their distance they would have been another option to pair us with. I definitely wouldn't want Vanderbilt,Texas A&M,or Florida State. Based on location the Dallas Baptist would have been the other regional I wouldn't have minded.

And even more importantly is we got a good 2 seed. I would rather UNC-W over Ole Miss or Rice. I wouldn't want NC State or Iowa either but am really, really glad we didn't get CofCharleston or Arkansas!! Overall I think we got a pretty good path. Now we just got to play to our potential and take nothing for granted and we should be in Omaha
