I think he is fine. I linked the Miss St story on the game and no mention. I think that would have been noteworthy if something was wrong.

Also on a good note, Miss St is 0-3 on Wednesday nights this year...

PS - Anyone watching the Kentucky UGA game on ESPN? Should be good to see the Wildcats before the game Saturday

I've watched State all season (in addition to being an LSU basketball season ticket holder, I'm a State grad student.)

If Moultrie is on, and one guard is on, they're tough to beat.

That said, if Sidney's head isn't in the game, and you get two quick ones on Moultrie, LSU could do well.

Past the two starters, there isn't much down low. They'll run guards at you all night, though.

I am, I want UGA to roll over tonight, personally. Don't want to face UK after a loss/with a chip on their shoulder

I at least want Kentucky to pull away in second half and win by 20+

Posted both of these in my JOBIII thread, but I'll put them here too:

LSU basketball team just finished practice at in Starkville. Johnny O'Bryant successfully went thru practice. Will dress Wed vs Miss St.

O'Bryant will probably wear what he wore in practice tonight a light wrap over a half glove. From my seat looked like a fb linemans glove.

Will I be able to get this game on Directv in Baton Rouge? Sorry, I'm terrible at knowing what actual channel numbers the stations are. Is WBXH one of the local channels on Directv in BR?

Turner has shot a little better over the last 2 games, hopefully he keeps it going

Hamilton is averaging 16.6 and 9.2 in SEC games

Feeling positive about this one

What do you think about starting Jalen Courtney and have Stringer or Turner become the go to man of the bench?

I've been back and forth on my prediction over the last 12 hours or so, but I think we catch MSU on an off night coming off the big win vs. Vandy. Also, I think they really focus their defense on our post play which leaves open shots for the guards.

I think we hit those outside shots tonight.

I think that's a terrible idea to be honest. I know Jalen hit a couple of threes while he was wide open, at home, against some scrub teams but I'm a little confused as to why everyone thinks he is the "game changer" we need. Though he seems athletic I am not convinced he really understands the offense or the defense to Be honest. He is late to help defense and I feel like he just kinda hovers around the three point line. His 3 point % is also inflated due to 1 game where he went off and not very many shots taken. There is a reason Stringer and Turner play 30+ minutes and Courtney plays >10, it's because we have the best chance to win with them. Courtney can get hot and in that situation you ride him as long as possible, but stringer and turner have a better chance of being hot on any given day. Fact.

The rest of the day is gonna drag by for me... I have a 1:30 ECON lab (Thankfully it's only an hour) then gotta run to the union to do some quick work for my on campus job, then it's off to practice (I coach bball) before finally getting to go to Rotolo's to catch the game.

7:00 cannot get here fast enough

So why do you have two teams that we have beaten, that we are ranked higher than, ahead of us in the power rankings? Not bitching at all. Just wonderin.

State is very talented, but they are prone to inconsistency due to the inevitable make-up of the type of kids that have to be recruited to be competitive in Starkeville.

Sidney may be the most talented of the bunch but also the biggest wildcard. I think he hurt his ankle at the end of the Vandy game. What's his status?

That is such a stupid comment. We are inconsistent because our coach is a bonehead. We have great kids on our roster. Sidney is the only exception. He is actually starting to come around and get his head on straight. You shouldn't make such ill-informed posts. He didn't hurt his ankle. They said he tweaked his knee but will be 100%, which means about 22 minutes.
