Was the ball or rim touched at the end of the game when the ball was sitting on the rim?

Not that anything will change but it sure looked to me like it could have been offensive goaltending.

ETA:
Looks pretty close to me

No not goal tending but definitely traveling. I mean seriously. The guy took 4-5 steps. But anyways. Moving on.

No, hence the reason why it wasn't called and why no one is talking about it.

Jones should have taken a timeout to force the refs to look at it.

I didn't think goaltending was a call that can be reversed

or someone could have made a mother fricking free throw or perhaps make a point blank uncontested layup.

Jesus our fans are so stupid. I guess this is part of the list of things to blame on Jones for the loss.

It wasn't going to be goal tending regardless of how long they spend looking at it, because no one touched the basketball. Getting close to touching it doesn't count as touching it.

He had 3 fricking timeouts. Why not take one in that situation? I realize that it wasn't touched, but we had the luxury of the TV showing multiple zoomed in views. If there's any doubt in real time he should have taken a TO to have it looked at. Another reason for taking TO and having them look at is regarding the game clock. Who's to say that additional time wouldn't have been added? You can't do shite with 0.1 seconds remaining.

Did i blame the goaltending/not goaltending for the loss? looks like you are the fricking stupid one.

You call the timeout to force them to at least check it and it might get a few ticks put back on the clock. Its clearly not the reason we lost. We lost because the team choked and couldn't make a free throw or even a lay up. That doesn't mean you just give up at the end and say frick it.

JJ is trying to coach the nice coach award. He does not want to talk with the officials.

The line forms behind Coach TJ

I never said that it was actually goaltending or that it was the reason we lost. We lost at the 10 minute mark when we decided we should take shitty shots and not make free throws.

The players choked but Jones stood by helplessly instead of trying to gain control. Jones has to get better at his in game management as a coach. He has the recruiting down, now we just need him to be an in game manager that doesn't get lost in the heat of the moment.
