I'm not a fan of the Coach O hire. But so far so good. Looks like Aranda stays. Peveto gone. If he can get Kiffin or Applewhite as the OC and doesn't micromanage maybe he can do it. I'm hoping anyway

I'm not excited about the hire but I'm also not predicting a disaster...I wanted jimbo because I think Herman in the SEC would be another Sumlin...not good enough to win anything but not bad enough to fire.
My problem with the nega posters around O (and the same around Les) is the lack of reasonable-ness in the criticism. Les was ripped for every little thing and any positives were the assistant coaches, the recruiting was the school not him etc. because the criticism was so unfair and juvenile, it made me lean the other way. Now those same negatards are back in force and O hasn't even done anything. It will be the exact same thing...they won't even give him a chance and any success will be luck or the assistants fault.
I was looking forward to this board being more reasonable with a new coach...that was foolish. Same exact crap just shitting on a different coach...it is really sad because this could be a great forum but intelligent, reasonable discussions just can't exist because of the negavtards...
