" current expectation levels"

We have questions on both lines and quarterback, but we have high expectation levels that make 9 wins a major or more disappointment??

Until I see what happens in our 1st couple SEC games, I will go with A.

B

But it will happen and we will accept it. I have nothing to make me believe that we will do any better than that. Zero faith play calling will change and zero faith that our QB has progressed as a passer

Please tell me what questions we have because as far as I know both lines are pretty filled out especially the D-line

I agree with your point on the use of catastrophe. Unfortunately my emotions get the best of me when it comes to LSU Football. An outcome of a football season should not rise to that level. Good point.

Even these dumbass shine pumpers that reside here would prob agree.

Just curious, but have the sunshine pumpers ever actually been right about something? I get the hype they want to bring to the table, but spouting off every single year (aside of 2011 obviously) and are proven incorrect year in year out?

To some rantards, it would be a preview to Armageddon...to me, it would be "B"...
But, I would grab another Bayou Bengal Lager and raise a toast to "just wait until next year"...

depends on what happens. Injuries to key players? Games getting canceled?

IMO, not making it to the playoff would be a major disappointment. Winning only 9 would be catastrophic.

So like the negaturds spouting out we will lose 5 every single year yet are rarely correct? Got it.

But if you know that LSU isnt going to win the national title, then why do people get so upset when they dont? Thats what i dont get. People wanting to fire the coach after 9-3 when thats what they fricking predicted.

B or C

I think the only way a 9 win record this season (assuming you're counting bowl games) could even be conceived as acceptable is if we just have the worst rash of injuries to key players starting early on in the season.

As in Fournette and 3 starting lineman go down in the first 3 weeks for the season

That's very unlikely so I'm not worried. This will be a 10 win regular season at worst IMO

Winning 9 games every year is extremely hard to do.

From 2009- 2013 only 4 programs were able to win 9 games every year and lsu was one of them.
Bama, oregon, lsu and , nebraska were the only 4 out of 126 programs. While winning 9 games isnt elite, winning 9 games for an extended stretch is extremely hard to do. Thats why maintaining a powerhouse is harder than building one.

The only "question" with the D line is which of our 7-8 studs will we allow to get enough playing time there to become All-SEC and All-Americans!

This question has variables. If this question was asked if we had played for some kind of championship the past few years, then it would be only a minor disappointment.

But 5-6 years removed from winning a SEC title with the amount of returning experienced talent the team returns, it would be catastrophic to not win with this loaded team.

The excuses end this year. If Miles can't coach this team to a title or playoff appearance, I'll go on record to say he won't ever do it again.

Anyone who disagrees simply doesn't have the best interest of the team in mind and wants to wait another 2-3 years for a new round of excuses. Time to put up or shut up.

Eh. If at the end of the season we have just 1 loss, ill be happy. Its hard to put national titles and playoffs in a must have column when youre voted into those games. The coaches and players dont have control over making the playoffs

When it looked like Les was on the way out, the board idiots like Choctaw and beefense conceded that anything less than a playoff appearance would be a disappointment and should result in Les getting run out...

Please keep in mind that's from Choctaw and beefense

Anything more than 1 loss and its time for change. We are in the best situation we have been in since 2011. Nfl didnt gut us. We arent implementing a new offense. We finally have a returning starter at qb.we return 17 starters or is it 18?

If the Head man can't get the job done with the talent on our roster - when will he ever?

C.

With all the talent on this team, all the returning starters and the All-World Staff, if the Tigers can only manage 9 wins, we're talking about the length and $$$$$$ of Herman's new contract at LSU come December.

Results, not Excuses in 2016. There are no more excuses. No more patience. No more mediocrity.

SEC West Title and win over Rammer Jammer minimum or it's time for the Fat Lady to start singing.......
