The weathermen have been wrong so many times this year nothing would surprise me.

the weather just looks horrible tomorrow so yeah we needed a double header today.

Pretty much the only chance of getting all 3 games in was a doubleheader today. But it didn't have to be back to back to risk interfering with tv. First game could have been over by 1 or 2 had they played a morning game...now at best they may get 2 games in.

and if we complain about the spring game everyone rantard will jump on us because football is king on here even a meaningless scrimmage against ourselves is more important than one of the best rivals in SEC baseball.

the game starts at 6:30 we could have easily got an entire game in starting at 1 or even 2pm.

we have no issue with a spring game but we have an issue with making a spring game more important than a baseball game which actually counts. Have your football but it should't effect baseball. There is a good chance that LSU baseball get's in one game this weekend thanks to the weather, and look outside the weather is nice enough to play baseball. We know it is very unlikely we play tomorrow so we need two today.

Eh, let's not get divisive. I love football as much as baseball. They are tons of logistical things that come into play with the spring game. I think folks who are going to that game wouldn't have come to a baseball game, anyway.

like I already said, they could have made this work pretty easily.
they could have played baseball from noon till 3, had the spring game at 330 till 6 or whatever, then baseball game 3 start whenever ESPN is supposed to televise it. ESPN still gets their game, and baseball gets in 2 before it gets rained out tomorrow.

Thursday night, Friday morning, or earlier this week when they knew the likelihood of bad weather was strong. Pushing it back is a lot easier than pushing it forward. Who would that have hurt? People get to tailgate for longer.
