At the risk of sounding like I agree with the OP (not sure what he's saying anyway), I'd say that anyone who says that other than Bregman this team is anything more than an average base running is crazy. For all his speed, Laird is an average base runner. Stevenson isn't much better. Both have great speed but neither can read pitchers or have good instincts.

Back to back bunt singles to lead off the first inning by Laird and Bregman. They lack the elite speed the OP wants to see from a program like LSU.
