LSU won the Big 12, Big 10 and CUSA championships all in one weekend. They have to be #1.

I'm loving the way we are looking right now.

Pitching amazingly will carry us this season. It's still early I understand but we are seeing quick development out of Godfrey and Lange. We won't have one of the best rotations in the country or even the SEC but it will give us enough to win 2 out of 3 games every weekend, which is what you have to do to win the SEC regular season.

Also these bats have yet to start streaking, when they do (I don't think it is a question of if I just think when) we could really string up some wins together. I still think we are on the edge of the top 8 bubble. We should win the west.

Not to mention we still haven't seen Latz. If we can get him back soon, it'll definitely improve our rotation.

It's funny because our bats will allow us to have a couple pitching hiccups too I think. This team has championship potential. It's all a matter of hitting on all cylinders at the right time of the season. Aka the end of the season. We surely have what it takes to at least secure a regional and hopefully a super.

Not if Vandy wins today. They'll have beaten 2 top 10 teams over the weekend.

I almost feel sorry for the teams we will be playing in the games that we do everything to our potential.

Just as much as I'll be pissed when we have a game not go our way with missed opportunities and bad timing. It's just baseball. But the ceiling on this team is fricking scary I think.

I don't think Latz could be ready to be a weekend guy until maybe the Auburn series in mid April. I don't think CPM will want to mix up to rotation unless one guy is just pitching horrible, and I don't think that will happen.

Latz will make a difference in the SECt and the Post Season. He will give us an advantage in game 4 when most teams are either pitching by committee or throwing an average 4. I would hope that Latz could throw his first start for the UNO game in early april, or earlier.

If LSU hits a streak in the post season no-one will stop us.

Our pitching is good enough to win it all if it develops into what I think it will by the end of the season. It's not a rotation that will match some of the west coast teams in past years but it's good enough to keep things in check to where our Lineup can score runs.

Watching A&M vs Baylor, LSU has really good size based on naked eye.

this is a great series that we need to try to get back to. Good competition great setting, gets our team experience on the road before we have to go on the road in the SEC.

Note: it will be a home game away from home because of the crowd but at-least you get the experience of dressing in a non home locker room, playing on a different field than you are use to, ETC.
