Didn't he predict LSU would be last in the SECw? Check his history when talking about LSU, he's a hack. I can't figure out why his podcast are still linked to Tigersportsradio. It's just bleacherreport bs.

I agree Lester....
But we can't use that as an excuse....yes we can have a down year, but not 3 or whatever in a row.
Whe need to be in a reload position, and I think we are getting there.

You've just described something all top programs are dealing with. Great analysis as usual Lester

how many teams are losing 13 contributors and their fans are getting mad when someone says next year may not be fruitful?

Jesus, spring scrimmages barely just began with a brand new OC and that jackass wants to make assertions like that? What a complete jackass.

Were they drops or was Etling off target? Great defensive plays?

Not to mention the defense sees what you are doing every day and picks up on your tendencies. It's why there are jumped routes for picks in nearly every spring game.

He was right in guessing 4 losses....

It was a good prediction, but hardly fortune-telling. I'd guess that ~70% of writers predicted 4 losses.

I had a long screed prepped, but screw it... it is much easier to just say that Barrett Sallee is a cheese dick.
His guesses mean nada at this point.

Barrett Sallee looked at the numbers out of LSU's first spring scrimmage, and he thinks now more than ever, the quarterback problem at LSU is going to cost this team during the season.

It shouldn't take a genius to figure out that the 3rd team qb from Purdue is not going to win a championship. Although Mauck and Flynn weren't the most talented qb's, they had the skills to manage and win. Etling has a 5 cent arm and no intangibles. Flame away homers !

Probably should have watched the scrimmage before determining that. Etling only needed to complete 4 passes to move the ball 133 yards through the air. 4 balls were throw aways where the defense recognized the play and had everything covered. So etling essentially went 4-6 on the day.

On a side note Etling went against the 1s all day, and our secondary is pretty good. We might play 1 or 2 that are even comparable this season. And those 1 or 2 won't have practiced against this offense for weeks, in regards to play recognition
