The truth hurts but you can't be scared of it. I like Etling, he's a serviceable QB but we are not winning a National Championship with him. I hope im wrong though.

A broken clock is right twice a day. A broken clock is right twice as much as Barrett per day.

So now winning 10 games is acceptable?

The shift in narrative was pretty fricking quick.

took big time plays from TM to overcome struggles.

This just isnt true.

Outside of 2009 Nick Saban has lost to an inferior team every year.

how many teams are losing 13 contributors and their fans are getting mad when someone says next year may not be fruitful?

Probably the same people that lost their minds when we lost 5 games in 2014.

At this point, he's just click baiting us. There is no way in hell that any writer could make an informed article about a spring scrimmage that they didn't even get to watch.

This.... I mean, I could see this coming after the actual Spring Game... but :insertiversonpracticegif: .... it's like the second fricking scrimmage

The only effin stat that matters is the frickin scoreboard.

Idc if DE goes 3/30, if that 3 is TD's and we get just 1 rushing TD... 9 times out of 10 we are winning the football game.

Lsu ain't winning 10 games. 8 is the ceiling and more likely 6 or 7.

You do understand that this is the second year under Aranda and the defense is going to be playing lights out. So it doesn't necessarily mean anything negative towards the offense.

I hate him but he predicted LSU's record perfectly last year and seems to just pick objectively. With my P&G glasses on this guy is a hack but it seems like he sort of knows what he's talking about.

Lsu fans are blinded by homerism. They understand how much we lost on defense and how many of the other teams we play have talented qbs coming back. And erlang showed his true colors against Bama when he froze up and threw 3 or 4 easy 3rd down conversions into the ground because he was spooked. Can't win like that.

Barrett Sallee: LSU's Scrimmage Numbers Don't Inspire Confidence
LINK

Barrett Sallee looked at the numbers out of LSU's first spring scrimmage, and he thinks now more than ever, the quarterback problem at LSU is going to cost this team during the season. He explains why this issue isn't going away for the Tigers.

Let's hope that Canada can do more with less. If Etling is simply serviceable we win 10 games this season.

This what happens when the media has to write about stuff that they can't see. QB play was really good on saturday. Run game production was so dominant, that it was what it was. ALL three QBs played really well. DE was forced to get of the ball 3-4 times due to good coverage. But thats it.

It was posted earlier LSU was one play away from winning 3 games last year.
Unless this dude is Nostradamus, his prediction was nothing but dumb luck.

For those saying that DE cann't lead LSU to the promise land, how would you compare him to Matt Flynn & Matt Mauck? And to say he froze against bama: watch the film, he was getting blasted at times before he had a good grip on the ball. Point being, our OL got drilled & any QB is only as good as his OL. Sure, he got spooked but that does not mean that is him ongoing since then.

The numbers from the spring scrimmage were weak. I don't think we'll end up liking the result of this coaching change.
