Bama's Offense is impressive.....but...

Points Against ranking by team (against Bama):
USC: 44th
WKU: 83rd
Ole Piss: 87th
Kent St: 70th
UK: 90th
Arky: 69th
Tenn: 84th
LSU's Points Against ranking:
Tied for 4th
Yes, Bama's offense has looked really good, but they haven't played a defense ranked in the top 40. TIFWIW.

This stat means nothing...... especially in college football. Unless you break down the opponents of all those you just listed

Also Bama's offense contributed to those "bad" numbers for those opponents. I will say all the non offensive TDs Bama scores contribute to that stat as well and I think that number is 11.

I understand that they're legit, but what Im trying to say is that LSU's defense is legit, and by the time we play them we should be a top 10 defense, at home, against a freshman quarterback. I like our chances.

I suppose it would be more informative to see their points against rankings without the Alabama games (which would tend to skew the rankings downward significantly).

I am much more excited about our chances now that the two village idiots (Cam and Les) are no longer associated with the team.

The defense is good but won't be top ten. Ole Miss will put up over 400 yards.
