So if we beat them we shouldn't get much of a bump in the polls, right? I mean, you're not going to complain if we only move up two spots, right? Because you just established that they're not very good, right?

I will tell ya this.. LSU has a good chance of whipping Bama by 20 than Bama has the same chance of doing that to LSU........

Yup.. That about sums it up.. Kwon and Kendall are aware of Sims' speed. They seem to realize the challenge they are up against with the backs. They are not exactly delicate little flowers. I don't think Henry and Cooper are looking forward to the hits they are going to receive from them either. Beckwith said you just have to tackle them good. No half way. A straight on tackle and they can be stopped.

Our boys are ripening at the right time.

I have a great buddy at work who is from Gumpland. He wears those hideous tide shirts to spite me. PLEASE, GOD, let it be my turn to gloat.

Cooper didn't do much last year and didn't play in 2012. Yeldon had 133 yards and 2 tds and had some yards in 2012 as well. If we can get him out of the game and leave it to Henry, then I think we got a shot.

They are good, but beatable. It will take the same effort we saw two weeks ago minus the turnovers. Bama's power run game worries me.

you say that as if we have nothing to play for... we are playing for the same thing they are... dumb statement.... They are a good team but so are we.... it will be a good game

Not only has Bama's offense been shaky, but they've only scored 1 non-offensive TD all season (on Defense & special teams), making this the worst output since NTP's first season.

Have you seen Mettenberger without Cam or Landry/Beckham?

Bottom line is LSU can beat this team if they play well. If Jennings can produce the same numbers as Sims, I like LSU to win and even if he doesn't LSU has a good chance to win. LSU has to be effective running the ball.

It doesn't mean they have to rush for 300 plus.

That's sort of the point. Bama has played an extremely weak schedule so it is really hard to get any sort of read on their quality.

Lies, damn lies, and statistics.

National media putting way to much emphasis on a Bama beatdown of a Texas Aggie team who quit the moment they got on the field.

To be fair, LSU as only scored one offensive touchdown against a Top 20 defense as well. It was also against Ole Miss, and we had the advantage of playing them at home.
