Bama hasn't been that bad. The cutoff has been around 3200-3500 normally. A&M seems to be under 2000. Only people I know who got them are under 1500.

I don't think allocations for A&M are finalized yet. My old man is way up in ranking and his A&M order status shows "not filled". No way he didn't get any!

A&M only gave LSU 6,000 tickets. The cutoff was going to be much lower than usual. But it's apparently even lower than most expected.

Has anyone seen an email from the ticket office concerning their request? They usually will email you your ticket request allocation information once it's all set. I have not seen that yet which is another reason I'm thinking they are still working it?

I heard from someone in our ticket office, that all of our allotments to road games were 6K and we were allotting 6K.

We asked for 10K for Bama and Auburn and were only given 6K, so we essentially made the decision to allot 6K to LSU, Arky and Florida.

I heard that when the stadium gets expanded after the 2013 season, we will offer two numbers to visiting teams... 6K and 8.5K depending on the demand from the teams. I would imagine that LSU, Bama, Arky and maybe Auburn would request the higher amounts.

I agree, that we probably should have offered more in year 1, but with a waiting list of 4500 people for season tickets (which probably equates to over 10k tickets) and the fact that we were only allotted 6K from other schools, this was the best course, especially from a maximizing revenue standpoint.

I'm looking forward to hosting you guys, and if you make it up here, my tailgate is open to all Tiger fans.

Ranking cutoffs:

Auburn - 5,200
A&M - 1,350

Florida & Arkansas had no cutoffs, just reductions.

Damn, 1350 for the cutoff. That means each donor from 1-1350 had to request between 4-5 tickets each if all 1350 requested. I'm sure some requested 8.

I got denied Bama tickets this year. I'm in the 3000s in the 12th Man Foundation and was able to get Ole Miss and Auburn, but no Bama.

I'm going secondary market.

if every person ranked 1 to 1350 ordered as many tickets as they are allowed to for A&M (not likely) it still comes in under 5000. The full band is not even going. How many tickets did students get? 1500?

Didn't think about student tickets.... makes sense depending on how many student tickets you gave out.

1-100 get 8;

101-250 get 6;

251-750 get 4;

751-up get 2

Students typically get around the same percentage of seats as they do in Tiger Stadium. Add in the Band, player guest tickets, and the 100 or so for the Athletic Dept, Chancellors office, etc. and you reach 7,000 quickly.

Makes sense.

We have a similar structure to the TAF layout you just described, except our students usually get shafted on away game tickets in terms of percentages. They usually only hand out 500 or so tickets.
