Dude, RNA vaccines are showing to be so much more effective, safe, and quick to create/adapt for different strains that pretty much every pharma company that does not already have the tech is racing to develop it.
No mRNA vaccines DO NOT work. They do not protect you from getting covid. They do not prevent you from transmitting covid to others. Sweden BANNED Israelis from flying to their country because Israel, whose people are 80% vaccinated, were having massive breakthrough cases.

quote:

We have had research in to mRNA back further than 1989, animal trials as far back as 1993, human trials for mRNA vaccines since 2001(showing promise in fighting cancer), and companies like Moderna have been developing rabies, zika, and influenza vaccines that were moving towards taking the place of traditional ones before the research was redirected and accelerated for the current crisis.
WRONG again. Yes your dates are correct, but the rest isn't. Here is a peer review article discussing the fact that mRNA methods do not work, and are dangerous for multiple reasons.

STAT news

quote:

In nature, mRNA molecules function like recipe books, directing cellular machinery to make specific proteins. Moderna believes it can play that system to its advantage by using synthetic mRNA to compel cells to produce whichever proteins it chooses. In effect, the mRNA would turn cells into tiny drug factories.

It’s highly risky. Big pharma companies had tried similar work and abandoned it because it’s exceedingly hard to get RNA into cells without triggering nasty side effects.

quote:

The choice to prioritize vaccines came as a disappointment to many in the company, according to a former manager. The plan had been to radically disrupt the biotech industry, the manager said, so “why would you start with a clinical program that has very limited upside and lots of competition?”

The answer could be the challenge of ensuring drug safety, outsiders said.

Delivery — actually getting RNA into cells — has long bedeviled the whole field. On their own, RNA molecules have a hard time reaching their targets. They work better if they’re wrapped up in a delivery mechanism, such as nanoparticles made of lipids. But those nanoparticles can lead to dangerous side effects, especially if a patient has to take repeated doses over months or years.

Novartis abandoned the related realm of RNA interference over concerns about toxicity, as did Merck and Roche.

Do some research on your own by looking at actual facts. The bought and paid for news media says what their owner tell them to say to make them more money. Here is something you can read. This letter clearly is written by a medical professional (I don't blame them for staying anonymous). Take what they say and research the pieces yourself (that doesn't mean see what the various "fact checkers and debunkers" say, they are funded by the people you would be checking on). Probably unwise yes,but i am less concerned if they are responsable and vaxxed or negative.

I don't either, but you seem to exemplify all of them. And so is anyone else willing to give up freedom and liberty for our country so that they might attend a football game.

What rights are being violated exactly, what liberties given up?

There is no vax mandate. Hell, George Washington mandated the smallpox inocculation, we are nowhere near that.

The requirement for the game is a minor inconvienence at worst, and not at all an overreach for a recreational event no one is entitled to.

Just out of curiosity, why do you think this is the vaccine that is finally the one that fricks everyone up? Like what are you basing that on other than that it was released under Biden's presidency (even though it was developed under Trump's)?
I think Trump was trying to fix the problem, but he was trusting big pharma to try and actually do something to help. Instead, big pharma re-made some poison (they already tried mRNA technology in the past, it is toxic, it causes auto immune disease and other nasty side effects, so FDA didn't approve it going back 30 years) and tricked America into making them rich without even having to worry about getting sued when the side-effects start happening. Well they have already started happening - 5 digit deaths, 6 digit permanent injury to people who have taken the vaccine.

lol if you think that is the reason.

So you think packing into a stadium shoulder to shoulder during a pandemic displays responsible behavior. And you also believe that you are safe from getting the virus from someone who is vaccinated.

Actually I’m betting he will not be the starter. It’s going to take more than 1 game to start ahead of Mr Football

Still not a mandate, and it passes constitutional muster. I have applied for several jobs in the last year that requires no nicotine use as a condition of employment. My previous employer required the flu shot yearly unless medically unable as a condition of employment.

Show us all how responsible and selfless you are during a pandemic by packing like sardines (I've been in Tiger stadium for many 100K games) for hours while constantly spraying saliva on your neighbors (and have them do the same to you) as you scream for the Tigers.

ETA: If you don't get Covid from this one event alone, can we really call this a pandemic? And if it isn't a pandemic then why are we being forced to jump through hoops (mask up, shut down, social distance, etc.)?

I don’t think he starts if bo practices well which is pretty likely for someone who runs the offense the most.

His teammates want him to start I bet.

Btw we sacked UCLA and state a few times each and we lead the nation , I’m sure we get after him good

Drama Queen. It’s just another vaccine, no big deal.
