They have LSU going 8-4 [4-4 in conference play]

Wasn't there talk earlier about the SEC being left out of the playoff? Seems like most of these projections are going off of what the teams did last year.

We are going to suck. Decline. Les. Lost Chavis. No defensive ends. Offense is going to suck. No qb. Schedule too tough. Buga over-rated. Crowd leaves at halftime. No ice in the cups at stadium. Cheerleaders ugly. Golden Girls fat. There is no need to even prepare for us. We will be lucky to win five games. Look past us to the next game. Keep believing all that.

When has OM ever met preseason projections? I don't get why these publications continue to project them so high when they fall short year after year.
I can understand them being down on LSU right now. With the lack of Qb production last year and it being in question for this year, it makes sense. Just have to prove them wrong though and we have the talent to easily do so.

I don't think that's that far of a reach 
not sure what in the last two years gave some here the impression that we're due to make a huge jump this year besides bringing in elite talent as we always have.
We lost our DC, lost our last 3 bowls, Our starting QB got arrested for theft, and we still have massive questions at QB given the last time he saw the field he could barely hold the football.

All of them seem plausible. I also think this could be the one season that no SEC team makes the CFBP.
