Well, he did shite his pants at Ole Miss. I'm all about a second chance in life, so maybe he'll prove us wrong? Until then, yeah, O sucked at Ole Miss. Would have been interesting if he got to coach that loaded 2008 team he did actually put together

Making all the right off-season moves, but the ranking is justified.

He has a golden opportunity to prove he's improved and move waaaaayy up in the rankings.

I think 81 is about right. He has to prove to everyone he is not the same coach. He has been recruiting is three stars which worries me. I know the amount of stars you have shouldn't matter but the top schools win with all four and five stars mostly.

That seems to be a lousy listing with just a quick over view.

I'm actually surprised he wasn't lower. Hopefully he shoots up the rankings after this year.

I love Ed as a person but his tenure at ole miss was a complete disaster. Really no reason to think he's even a decent head coach at this point

On paper it was a terrible hire. Not a mediocre one. Terrible.

Hillarious.

The man has been a successful Defensive Coordinator, a great recruiter, a successful interim coach twice at two high profile programs, has probably the best staff in the country, and last but not least HE IS NOT AT OLE MISS.

Do you want to know the type of football program Ole Miss really is then just look at that disaster since Hugh Freeze arrived. Even cheating his arse off in Oxford got Freeze to 3rd in the SEC West. Ole Miss is the only original SEC West team to NEVER go to Atlanta. NEVER.

It's as if nothing has occurred in Coach Orgeron's career and he was at Ole Miss just yesterday.

Most of these preseason magazines are jokes and not worth their price and should be written on toilet paper.

Personally, I think that Orgeron will do quite well at LSU. It is going to be fun.

Do you realize he has almost a complete class committed before any of them has played a single down of high school football in their Senior year? Many of these "3-star" recruits will be
"4-star" recruits by the end of their Senior season.

In addition, LSU is doing talent evaluations at camps with input from Dave Aranda and Matt Canada and their assistants. They do not rely on Rivals or 247 or other such nonsense to make recruiting decisions for them. Relax, LSU is in very good hands.

Tiger Ree will tell you he was the DC at USC and Monte Kiffin was his assistant.

If he was DC or DL coach or whatever at USC he was the Assistant head coach at USC for 6 years. He has been successful everywhere but Ole Miss.

Where he made his mistake was taking that toilet of a job in Oxford where you cant even cheat yor arse off and win the division. It is a horrible job that even got rid of David Cutcliffe so they could hire Houston Nutt. It is just a bad program with horrible leadership. I am not overlooking the test of Orgeron's career for the sake of Ole Miss. If you blame him for Ole Miss then credit him for his work at Miami, USC and helping LSU salvage last season after that team was ready to tank it. That is a fact.
