Nowhere in the post that you responded to did anyone say anything about getting rid of LM. You just needed something to bitch about.

Miles must think of QBs as coming a dime a dozen. Maybe in his mind he's doing a bang up job at coaching a QB to hand the ball off in classic style.

You know your team has hit rock bottom when fans tout an almost win as a positive.

100% agree with the article.

The fact of the matter is that Miles might well be the most clueless coach in college or pro football when it comes to evaluation and use of quarterbacks.

When Jefferson was recruited in 2008, Miles actually had Derron Thomas committed at one point. Thomas ended up as the starter at Oregon, put up amazing numbers in a high-powered offense and played in the 2010 national championship game. Among the other quarterbacks LSU recruited that year but didn’t ultimately offer scholarships were Baylor’s Heisman winner Robert Griffin III and Ryan Griffin, who ended up at Tulane and is now on the New Orleans Saints’ roster.
Derron Thomas and RG III! Geez. I understand that there is a certain amount of hit and miss with recruiting, but goodness sakes.

Calling others clueless...because I stopped reading right there. LSU needed to win out and have about ten other SEC games go the right way to possibly get lucky and win the west. You are the fricking clueless one if you think Miles is some genius because we were in that situation.
I'll read some more..

Guys realize that even if we had Joe Montana behind center in the Auburn and Mississippi St. games we would have lost due to our defense which hadn't gelled.
Oh, yeah...Our defense has improved. Improved enough to beat Ole Miss, Alabama, and Arkansas, but unfortunately, the mad hatter and his 1960's offense has regressed.
Come on.

Deadly Spot On and one of the best "Tell it like it is" articles we've ever seen concerning L.S.U. football.
Also like how the article takes a shot at Alleva for just giving Johnny Jones an undeserved $400,000 raise for doing absolutely nothing to earn it.
Trouble in Paradise just around the corner with this buffoon in charge.

Agreed. I still can't believe we have Alleva as AD.

Two things left out.
1) hiring of Kragthorp.
2) rosters spots given to QB's as sideline coaches McCarthy and Kragthorpe.

What's wrong with winning 9 or 10 games a year? Realistically, who do we get that is better than miles? We would never get saban back as much as I would like that.

I think many people do overreact and use their emotions. But miles does have a problem with developing a consistent sec caliber qb.

This thread is not about firing Miles, just in case you haven't read it. It's about his inability to develop QB's, which really cannot be argued, it's a fact.

This article pretty much sums up Miles' eventual legacy: great coach who won a ton of games but could not develop a quarterback

What were your expectations going into this season? If you're being honest 9-3/8-4 was very reasonable for this season. I expect a ton of these guys, but how can you be disappointed with anything other than the QB position? These guys have made tremendous improvement since the beginning of the season.
Also remember Mississippi St./Ole Miss returned good to very good upper classmen QB's, along with seasoned teams.

You do realize these guys don't hold scholarships and are basically camp arms? Do you know many top flight prospects who will come and stay 4 years to just practice?

The same coach who refused to make a qb change, when we had no first downs against Georgia in the SEC championship game. The same coach who wouldn't make a change with only 1 first down against Ark in the first half.

That guy is an idiot, has no idea what he's talking about. Oh yeah and must hate LSU and Miles.
