NOOOOOOOOO, I have already plane tickets !!!

The highs and Lows of peoples opinions is fun to read.

AE will do fine and LSU will most likely WIN.

The big question is by how much and how long APP stays in the game?
I know whats coming TARDS,try to be reasonable.

F being reasonable, let me have it. I can take it.

If he litters on the LSU campus I hope he'll be arrested.

But seriously dude, Edwards will be lucky if he's still in the game after halftime.

I would first like to state that I envision a much closer game with the Apps (at least in the first half) than some of the other LSU fans on this board. Also, it has become very apparent that the Apps fans that have posted/responded on this board are very realistic concerning the game. For the most part, they demonstrate their enthusiasm for the too slowly approaching game and the pride they have for their school. I would ask nothing less from our fans.

Thank you Cashman. We feel the same about you and the LSU fan base.

Like many of you we are greatly anticipating another season. One in which, we hope to win an unprecedented fourth national championship.

Of course we understand the need by some to jerk up in hate, blow up their chests and scream when someone has a contradictory opinion or facts.

Anyway, I agree with a lot of fans that see App giving LSU a great game. As far as our O-line and D-lines, don't underestimate them either. Gary Tharington #96 is a classmate and friend of mine. He handled the 2008 #1 draft pick Jake Long pretty well in Ann Arbor.

Appaholic, Make sure you get to B.R. early enough to enjoy the tailgating. It's second to none.

I've been planning on it. Several people have told me about it and I'm really looking forward to hanging out down there.

Maybe I can take a few tips back to Boone with me.

I'll even bring some moonshine down to help the LSU fans deal with the disappointment of a close game!

But seriously, I can see some great friendships building from this game. I can also see some drunk assholes on both sides. Hopefully many of them will have sampled some of our fine North Carolina mountain brandy. Which a friend and I make for a very nominal fee.

It helps take the edge off!

He is probably a good quarterback. I don't see LSU being caught off guard with all this hype.

Let me just say that while Armanti Edwards IS a good QB I hate how much everyone talks about him alone. He wouldn't be able to do what he does in a game with out a good offense and defense.

Unfortunately those teams are mostly FCS division teams but they all have players that could have made rosters in the BCS division. Don't hold it against them that they may have decided to attend a university with good academics, town support, fan support and the opportunity to stand out in a little recognized division. Which by the way is still being held down by the NCAA and pressure from the all-boys-club BCS from allowing them to have an equal amount of scholarships.

If it were a true level playing field then we wouldn't be having this discussion. Instead LSU would have to admit that Armanti poses a very real threat because he would have more scholarship players on his team. Some of which would definitely made it one the LSU roster for speed and size.
