My first thought is "man, that is pretty pathetic." But after talking to people in class, the price was the main reason not that many people (~3700) requested tickets. Very understandable.

Un-frickING-believable

@D_LeVass337 No. It will be lower than 120. Still working on it.

It will be possible for some students to get tickets and not have gone to all the home games.

That is fricking pathetic.

120 (all the home games) should have been a floor. Then start at the top and start assigning 2 for the top point getters.

I've never seen more idiocy than the LSU ticket office, ESPECIALLY Brian Broussard.

It's like you have to be a functioning retard to work there. At least two trisomes in your chromosomes to head up the department.

Not a student anymore and had to do those ticket reserves on the sugar bowl website. I just think it's laughable that students could get to go to the BCS CHAMPIONSHIP and not have at least made a brief appearance at all the home games.

People with less than 120 points getting tickets is shocking.

I am all for as many students as possible going but it is extremely surprising that at least 2000 students did not go to every home game and requested tickets to watch a BCS championship game in NOLA with a 12-0 team.

I know tickets are expensive but damn, sell some shite on ebay or something.

I'm not a student so this doesn't apply to me, but what if a student had more important shite to do on a Saturday like, say I don't know, school work? I mean, I know this may sound crazy, but some people can be massive LSU fans and still have to watch from home because not all majors allow you to bullshite through every Fall semester. I mean, I'm not a student at LSU, but I've definitely had to do homework or projects while watching most of the games this season.

School doesn't start till the week after. What are you taking that you have such a heavy workload that you have to work on the Monday night of the fricking National Championship game in New Orleans.

:NerdAlert:

Read it as if you were missing the big game, but still..swipe in and leave at least.

You don't even have to actually go to the games. As in, you don't need a ticket. As long as you go get your ID swiped, you get the points for a home game. I don't even think some people realize this is possible.

I have 137 and I was thinking I might be borderline on getting tickets...I guess that's not the case. Our fraternity made two separate group seatings. The cutoff was 140 to the lower group so if I'm in the upperdeck sitting with students that didn't even make it to all the home games I'm gonna be pissed.

Ok you have an argument with the work stuff.

But the "I'm too busy with school" excuse is laughable. Just get your ID swiped. You don't even have to have tickets to the game to get priority points.

The first gate you just swipe your ID (gets you the points). Then you just walk out.

In theory, it is now possible for people who haven't been to ONE LSU FOOTBALL GAME ALL YEAR to see the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN PERSON.

But let's just be honest here: those people who didn't go to all the home games that got tickets will be the ones just slobbering over their chance to scalp those tickets.

Give them to LSU Law or Med students. People who have real excuses not to be at every single home game. Give them to season ticket holders. Don't give them to someone who doesn't care enough to get their ID swiped at a home game.

120 should have been the floor period.

although i am kinda pissed off at the lack of students with over 120 priority points. I can see why though, is it really such a travesty for a student to miss an 11:20 kentucky game or the northwestern game? Alot missed the arkansas game because of thanksgiving but that one is non excusable.

I have 130 points but i know most girls definately arent going to make all the games and sometimes you just have to go home.

I think it should def be one per person.

If people get two they could just as well give it to someone who hasn't been to a game either.

I don't see why people with higher points would bitch about that?
Some people just have to miss games, I don't see why that's such a big deal.
