Les would fire Herman after one year and name himself coach again. It could be like Barry Alvarez at Wisconsin.

Assistant AD, yes. His focus will be on community relations, mentoring and the Athletic Department's "Ethics in Athletics" program.

If he's like to pursue some appearances on TV talking about college football, that would be fine. He could take some time away from the job to do that.

Sure are a lot of bitter people throwing hatchets at Les Miles. He didn't assault your mother, sister or daughter, did he?
