and Herman as head coach. Aleva gets the can for screwing up the Jimbo thing and the money men made some sort of deal with Les to keep him around "for the good of the university".

If the Board doesn't want him as coach, why in the hell would they want him in charge of anything else?

They could hire some assiistant to deal with the "business" stuff and he could still talk in riddles and make the home visits.

IMHO, Coach Miles should be promoted to Assistant AD and remain on campus.

He could move into a lower position and that would be fine. However you never want the guy fired to be the boss of the next coach that would not work out ever.

I didn't say I wanted him as AD. And the head coaches usually pick their assistants, AD deals with the contracts etc.

The AD hires the head coaches. Take your time, think it through.
