Not that LF really needs one with all the attention he's been getting.... But has the LSUAD started on a campaign? I don't live in LA, and I haven't seen anything. LF might end up being the best LSU player ever, so why not throw up billboards and print the shirts. Maybe use the money that isn't going to Chavis for this....

Lol... probably nothing like that, from LSU's end. But hey, who knows. They have already essentially branded his face/name as the face of LSU football. Same with what they are doing with Ben S.

There is 24 hour coverage now and every game is on national television. LSU doesn't need to be putting up billboards to get people to look at Leonard Fournette.

because of social media, they are presented in a different way.

With all the media attention and year round scrutiny of the heisman, it really Is pointless in this day and age.

Schools used to have to do it to promote their player to voters across the country who never got to watch them play. They'd mail out flyers and gimmicky stuff to get attention, but with every game on tv and every highlight and stat on tv 100 times, it'd be like sending a telegraph to someone in California and saying " watch #7 for LSU. He's really good."

Not the way they used to be...

Anyone remember this? I want to say it was the cover of the media guide or something like that in 1985? I had cut it out and had it on my wall for years...

LSU isn't Oregon from back then and doesn't need a billboard to get people to watch us. Our game vs Syracuse was the most watched on cable probably because of LF7. He'll be fine

This is where Fournette separates himself from all the other players. He's not just putting up big numbers every game. He's running over multiple players on 40+ yard gains. He's turning a QB sack into a 50 yard run. He's hitting spin moves and jukes at the LOS and making people look stupid. What he's doing is special enough for people to pay attention. He doesn't need to be on the side of buildings or on posters.
