FWIW, I know some players whom I graduated with who have or currently attend Bama. If you fail more than 3 drug tests there, you get sent to rehab. That's the punishment you take as you potentially lose your starting job.

I could see this being a situation with Key do to the questionable circumstances.

Ok Joe Rogan. I don't know about all that, but it definitely should be as legal as alcohol or tobacco.

This is the weirdest saga. I'm amazed it hasn't been revealed what is going on. Kudos to the team and coaches for that. But still, it's weird.

I agree. All the other stuff surrounding LSU that gets leaked early, etc. and nothing confirmed ever came out of this. Strange.

LSU's policy:

1st non-ped failed test - start counseling

2nd - suspended for 10% of games

3rd - suspended for 50% of games

4th - bye bye, can request reinstatement after a year

I'm sure rehab is an option at some point in this process.

Its amazing the leniency a potential #1 draft pick can receive.

At this point they need to practice like he wont be there. If he comes back, awesome, he should be unstoppable. If he doesnt come back, move on. There are a ton of young studs on the team.

With the way this has strung along, ill wait until they say he actually showed up or is back on the team. The date doesnt mean anything.

Hopefully, he gets whatever it is taken care of, he has a very awesome future ahead of him that most people, including me, could only dream of.

I understand your point, but frankly tired of athletes and parents that want it both ways. Keep the publicity going because that's of value but keep the "problem" under raps. Trust me the NFL will question the hell out of him. He owes LSU and his teammates more than a few ridiculous tweets about his weight.

"LSU" knows what is going on with Key, as in all likelihood so do most of his closest friends on the team.

The underlying matter is he owes you nothing.

I can tell you would be a team first player. It's all about me mentality. That's what wins championships.

Everyone will know when he starts answering questions from NFL teams. That information always leaks.

He flunked out. Suspended for a semester. Duh.
Illegal for LSU to comment.

He would have been ineligible for the bowl game had he flunked out.
