I post on that board too and nobody has disrespected LSU. Everyone certainly discusses strengths and weaknesses and the possibility of winning (or at least keeping it close) but you're blowing it out of proportion. Most of the posts are about the stadium construction and James Madison University. There's no need to stir the pot.

Ive never even seen that message board. Never even heard of it for that matter

It has a weird format, but is by far the busiest App message board.

The longest discussion threads and biggist arguements by far are about BBQ. I inadvertantly made a positive comment about Woodlands and OMG the Lexington folks jumped in, then Lincolnton, Gastonia, etc., etc., etc.

I have certianly never seen it, even when looking for an App message board...

I clicked on the link and I definitely don't like the format...

I found it by going to the Saints Super Forum where there is an LSU link, Bayoubengals.com. Somebody there posted the link to the ASU board for the LSU fans to follow. There are a few LSU folks (who represent very well) who post there.

Ha..I'll be a junior...I know...it's bad. I really have no idea why we haven't been. Everytime my roommates or friends have gone, I've been busy and other times I just haven't had time to go. 20 hours in the spring killed me this semester

I always listen to 97.3 FM, WKBC out of Wilkesboro. What type of consulting were you doing?

There are several places we always go when the family and I are in the area. I enjoy Woodlands the most in the Fall or Winter when it's cool and we've been hiking or skiing. It's packed after home games, don't graduate without going there.

Oh Trust me..I won't. My parents come up for every home game(since I'm in the band) and we usually don't travel out to Blowing Rock after games since they have a 2 hr drive home. We stay in Boone, but I will definitely hit it up. Probably here in the fall.

Are you a student up there now?

Edit: NVM...I just looked at your little profile thing and saw that you were in DC. Did you go there previously?

So you're coming up to App? If you have no car then I would suggest finding a piece of grass close to Rivers Street and pitch a tent. You will need to camp out on somet of those places because they get filled quickly. I would suggest walking around in Raley or Stadium parking lots. Always great people and great food in there. The 3 pep bands travel to those two lots and over by the bookstore so definitely check them out too..

NationalChamp: That's great!

First post here. 4 of us students will be making the treck from Boone, NC. It should be a 12 hour drive. Remember most of us including the players are not from Boone and live in areas with high humidity during the summer. (Raleigh) I am looking forward to the game and seeing the LSU campus. I don't know where my seats are but hoping lower level. I will find out on August 22nd. Most of the alumni who have bought tickets are in the 640's.

I live in Charlotte and can tell you even though we are two hours away from Boone the App. State fans are pumped, calling in radio shows, etc. and believe if they did it to Michigan they can do it to anyone. I really don't get the impression they are all that scared of LSU.

I keep telling them SEC speed is way different than Big Ten speed, but all they talk about then is their spread offense, three National Titles in I-AA and such. They were even talking about their QB in Heisman contention on College Football Live the other day.

Got to give it to them for heart, but a dose of humble pie wouldn't hurt either!

You listen to the PAC Man? I love that show..

I was one of the guys that used to call in back in 05 during our first title run. Penner and Mac were absolute "dicks" about talking about App State.

Now they know that App State is either on par or better than ACC champions like Wake or weak arse Virginia Tech....(East Carolina gave them a good game at Blacksburg for God's sake)
