I just thought of one….it is a cheer more than a tradition.

Florida is very fond of the cheer "It's great….to be….a Florida Gator. I say it's great…to be…a Florida Gator". That is ghey to the umpteenth power.

I think Auburn does it too.

Someone mentioned it on here earlier, but I noticed at Auburn that they give a male cheerleader a mic in the pre-grams and let him lead cheers like "2 bits". It is very awkward, and very outdated. LSU used to do this but came to their senses about 20 years ago.

I'm sure it's already been mentioned but I'm glad LSU doesn't have any hand signals like guns up, or the horny toads, the shocker, etc.

I enjoy almost every other school's traditions. Hurry Toddy included. Sandstorm is very cool.

The only unacceptable thing to me is pom poms. But they don't make much noise, so have at it Alabama.

West Virginia's tradition of burning their furniture after marginal victories is a tad strange.....

Has a sociologist ever come out and explained this behavior? I totally don't get when people burn their shite after a WIN. I could almost understand angry behavior after a tough loss in a big game, like a championship game, but after a WIN? Never has made sense to me.

"Oh cool! The Lakers won the title"
"Yeah, but our car has been turned over and is on fire"

I agree that storming the field should be avoided as a rule, but I don't think once in 10 years or so if you beat a team 20 spots higher than you, it's a horrible thing.

I've been to a couple Navy games. "Anchors Aweigh" is pretty cool too.
