Seems every report I read has Coastal Carolina as the favorite. I know they're legit but a SEC National seed playing at home with LSU's history should get you a little respect. I guess on paper CC's obvioulsy better. Hope the players have the bulletin board filled up.

Could you translate that into plain English for us non-gamblers? Thanks.

Bet $220 on LSU to win $100. Bet $100 to win $220 on CC.

So is it fair to say LSU is a 2 to 1 favorite with those odds?

You're risking 2.20$ for every dollar. Risk 220 to win 100$ for example. Basically lsu is a pretty heavy favorite. Sorry I'm still half asleep lol

CC is a +160 under dog. Risk 100 to win 160

They had 4 of their current players drafted on day one of the draft yesterday with 3 of them in the first round.

Yeah they have the best chance to win in my honest opinion. Their pitching staff is other worldly

Only Florida had more players drafted yesterday....5, with 2 in the first round and 3 in the second round.

Does this really matter? If LSU wins the pundits look stupid, if not oh well.

The first sentence is true, but it doesn't work vice versa. There's a different money line for CC to win.

There is a difference between actual odds and gambling odds.

The goal of gambling odds is to have the betting public put equal money on both sides of the betting proposition, thereby guaranteeing that the bookies will win, regardless of who actually wins the game.
