Apparently Rocco’s can’t take orders over the phone….

Tried to set the next 20 LSU fans with Jell-O shots but Nebraska liquor laws prohibit it. Got a buddy who is going to put the order in for me and I’ll send him the $.
Can’t be there myself but I want to help our fans out however I can.

I was thinking about calling and ordering a jello shot for Wally Pontiff #31. Was gonna ask them to write out his name and number on a napkin and leave it out on the bar.

I don't understand this too cool for school mentality some of you have. Also, they have been transparent about how the revenue is being distributed, so it's for a good cause back to Omaha. Loosen up and drink some overpriced Jello shots.

My understanding is some of the $ does go to food banks. Are they totally FOS?

Last year they took a percentage of sales and donated to food banks in Oxford and Fayetteville. But they didn’t decide to do that until after the series. They didn’t expect it to blow up like it did.
I think this year they have a deal with an Omaha based food bank to get a percentage of each one sold. Part of the reason for the price hike.

Here is the issue with your plan: Those 20 LSU fans are at Roccos presumably to buy Jello shots. If you buy 20 and have them hand it out to LSU fans, then you aren't adding to the total. You are just fronting other LSU fans that would have bought some on their own anyway.
A better plan would be to buy 20 Jello shots and hand them out to opposing fans to get them to buy a few less.

Reminds me of going to the dueling piano bar in Houston - they did an "auction" via tips to see which school fight song would be played. Some dude at the bar put up $200 for the LSU Fight Song to be played in honor of his grandfather that died that week.
