Yay or Nay

I would vote for that.
I also think Sylvia Fowles should be on that list with Augustus.

Yes, as long as the jersey stays Jackson and not Rauf.

I had not heard this, he was a GREAT CBB player for sure...hate to see it diluted, but if we have another he could be next IMHO....Augustus and Fowles also makes sense but again, how many is too many? and what about Fess?

I don't think we've retired enough jerseys for women's hoops. I would support retiring all of them.

Of course you retire his jersey...One of the greatest college basketball players of all time. The most exciting I have ever watched live.

Sometimes it is hard to reconcile a person's accomplishments with their controversy.

Kind of like people bitching about Robert E. Lee still being honored today..he was on the wrong side of history, but still did things great things as US soldier (distinguished service in mexican american war, superintendent at west point, etc) prior to that...hard to reconcile the idea that his character is both flawed and good at the same time

Bunch of haters up in here. Chris Jackson now Abdul-Rauf was a GREAT LSU basketball player and is very deserving of a jersey retirement.

For those nay's because he changed his name...get over yourself

100% agree that he deserves such an honor. Chris Jackson was my favorite LSU athlete to watch. His freshman year was pure magic.

not that I agree, but I don't think it's just because of his name.

Record and Watch the Loyola-Marymount game tomorrow during the LSU Takeover on SECN.

Next decide how you will vote.

Knowing on that game alone is how he played like that alot during his tenure here.

You will vote yes and disregard whatever he did after leaving.
