We had this game won with a 45 yrd FG.
That INT was just inexcusable. I would not start him next game. Give the other guys a chance. Harris is not it for anumber of reasons. I would play 3 QBs in the next game.

ESPN went through and talked about Wisconsin and said with no luck they are 5-7 team. They already got lucky by playing and insanely terrible looking LSU team. They are a 6-6 or 7-5 team. They have 3 guaranteed losses. It's completely unacceptable for us to go up there in a neautral site. Kick the ball out of bounds, shank punts, throw easy stupid picks, fumble, miss tons of just wide open blocks and look like we have never ever played football before. This loss is 100% unacceptable in every single way.

I wanna be friends with coach Herman. So I can get in his ear and tell him how many reasons he should be in BR and not Htown. Coaching the Tigers and not the Cougars, how much money he could make and how nice that yacht would look after a year or two. How nice a big statue of himself would look out in front of The Coliseum of CFB. I could go all day. It's time to stop playing with the crums and go get us some frickn PIE.

We should have never been in that position though, even though it is SOP for Miles.

I'd say Harris should be benched but they started the guy and he is clearly the same player he's been. Nothing has changed, Saturday's play by him should not have been any surprise at all. He still can't read a defense and he has no clue how to use his arm.

Maybe somewhere else Harris could have been successful but he's a terrible QB here and there are no signs he will improve.

I saw enough out of Etling to confidently say he at least won't lose us games, which is nicer than anything I can say about Harris.

is kidding themselves.
This was essentially a road game that reminded me a lot of the Va Tech game under Saban.
LSU was never in sync.

Your game plan is a shaky as Coach Miles". Is he your daddy?

had we barely won, the Miles loyalists would still happily be in there bubble and believe all is well.

I hear you.

For those that are quick to discount you, agreeing that Wisconsin is usually a fairly good team does not mean Miles and the offense were poorly prepared. The truth is that Miles and the offense were poorly prepared. But that's the subject for 100 other threads.

Wisconsin is consistently a top 20 caliber team and every once in a while flirts with the top 10. And this game played out not too differently than when we played them in 2014. In that game, they held us to 6 first downs and 16 yards rushing in the first half. We were slow to wake up, but finally did in the second half and squeaked out the win.

... Shouldn't be too surprising that they once again shut us down in the first half... we slowly woke up in the second half to take the lead. Only difference, we didn't do enough this time to steal the win... That, and the first time we played, we lucked out that Melvin Gordon was injured in the second half and didn't play. If he did, we likely lose that one, too, because Gordon pretty much did whatever he wanted to against LSU's D in the 1st half.

It's naive to assume the Badgers should have automatically lost by 20 because we're LSU and we're supposed to be better. But, it is definitely true that the offense was completely inept in the first half, and only somewhat better in the second half. You can't start that slow as often as we do and expect to contend.

There's hope for a good season still. Miles just has to stop with the tentative promises of changing the offense... but then attempting to lean back on his tried & true formula to establish a rhythm. It won't work that way and nobody we play will fall for it. It results in an offense that kinda practices one way but then tries to do what it used to do in the games. As a result, it does neither well now.

Exactly right. We should have never been in the position to have a shot at winning. They threw a pick in the end zone and another pick 6.

To even be in the game at that point was a gift that we blew badly.

If I'm not mistaken, Wisconsin shanked a punt and we held them on a 4th down when they were in field goal range.

Oh my god, if I hear one more thing about the Badgers are a perinnial top 20 program I'm gonna cut my throat. If they beat us in those seasons then that's fine. They will lose 4-6 games this year. They are not a top 20 team this year. And maybe LSU isn't either. The point is we played horrible and still almost won. We have talent but played the most uninspired this century. We should have crushed them with no problem. We literally played as bad as humanly possible. It was embarrassing and we almost won. With any coach in the country we would have won.

Rolling around laughing isn't going to change anything. I mean it may make you feel tall and all but Wisconsin didn't kick the ball out of bounds or go for it and get stuffed. They didn't come up with the same game plan we've been seeing for 3 years now, nor did they run that vanilla offense. LSU did all that so like I said.
Nothing being posted on this board is going to change anything. Coaches have come and gone. Before Harris and Cam got to LSU we were doing the same shite. It goes back to Les Miles! I love Les, but the coaching ain't getting it done anymore.

We went on a field trip to historic Lambeau Field, while Wisconsin was on a business trip with state pride and Lambeau on the line. The team approached the game like a fan, and it bit them in the arse.

I agree. Our fans and our team was just on a fun vacation. Wisconsin was there with pride and some heart. We blow D
