Anyone think Les didn't interfere with the playcalling after the QB change?

It just seems once they put Etling in we were creative, and once we got a comfortable lead Les got his hand back in the playcalling and got conservative. Did anyone else notice this?

Anyone who thinks that this didn't happen is a moron. It was night and day.

Either he calls the plays all the time or not.

I don't think he steps in to shut shite down.

I think he got a comfy lead and turtle as always.

Of course he did.

Had the play chart in his hands...he is a penis, and a teeny tiny one no less

Exactly! Why the hell would he step in and then back out then step in then back out! Damn it doesn't work that way anybody that has played football knows this.

I bet there is a high concentration of LSU fans that believe 9/11 was an inside job.

This is exactly what happened tonight.

I am laughing my arse off at all those Charlie Browns getting their hopes up and screaming Saban and Bama are fricked and LSU is back.

Les Miles didn't suddenly just have a change of heart in his coaching philosophy in one quarter. He's still the same old Les Miles.

You can't blame Les for everything when things go bad and give him zero credit when things go good.

You can't have it both ways. Pick one. Don't flip flop based on what fits your argument.

For one quarter it actually looked like Les was afraid of being fired.

We had one quarter of good and 3/4 of suck on offense tonight. I'm willing to give him credit for 1/4 that went right if you're willing to admit he's not good 3/4 (75%) of the time.

Too bad he didn't let it continue. Too stupid to realize it is going to cost him.
My main peeve against Les, other than being predictive, is not thoroughly demolishing an opponent. Stomp the life out of them.

Yes, he was calling plays in the 3rd qtr. Holding a play sheet and talking to Cam.

I'm totally willing to admit it but the premise of the post is that the offense somehow got away from Less for a quarter and he reigned it back in because it was doing too good.

Man you've been here since '04, and have 55k posts. Surely you know that they can, indeed, have it both ways.

I noticed the same. One/two mistakes by the qb and Les takes the reigns away.

Watch the game again! We threw the ball, we just weren't as successful. Third down and two and we threw the ball deep!
