Looked in to Arky and State. Ticket prices are higher than the travel cost including hotels. Crazy what baseball tickets have done with the add on fees.

I live in NWA. Tickets at Baum have gotten ridiculous. We used to be able to get tickets for any SEC series for about $40. The University opened up more seating to season ticket holders, and they pushed up the aftermarket pricing. Where you used to be able to grab a $40 ticket, a Hog season ticket holder is now sitting. And I am not sitting in the Hog Pen with those fools. LOL

Technically a road trip but making Houston tournament. Will get to sleep in my own bed every night for a change though.

I have to go fly to Tulsa for work at the end of March. Going to make the two hour drive for at least one of the games at Arkansas.

It’s a great time. When you buy a ticket, it’s for a day, not a game, so you get to see every game that day. Depending on the day you’ll get to see 2-3 games.

It’s much better on days when LSU is still playing, so you might want to go early during the week instead of the weekend. This is bc when LSU is out, most of the tailgates have left. And of course because we want to watch our team play. Also weekday tickets are cheaper than weekend tickets. Both are a good deal though.

General admission tickets start at $71 and go up to $105 this year according to the SEC tournament website.

Note: the Hoover Met does not accept cash for any concessions, etc on site, it’s card only.

I have looked at it, but you have to be quick online to get tickets. On top of that you have to get in line early to make sure you get next to the rail, or you will be sitting behind someone.

Probably not, unless New Orleans counts.

ETA Never mind. I don’t think we play in New Orleans this year.

Gonna hit State this season.

Probably also Arkansas since I live 10 miles from their stadium.

It's a fun time. Same weekend as two years ago. Good Friday holiday and no game on Easter Sunday. Especially if you wanna hike in the mornings or breweries before and after games.
