You cant make actual plans yet.

Hotels dont book that far out yet. Especially for football weekends.

You guys have to wait a little while.

Reading this thread makes me think I need to get my plans together quicker than I thought. Definitely going though.

Definitely, going. Trailering a Mustang to Indianapolis that weekend for a big car show and take laps around Indy Speedway. Driving the 6 hours more for the game. Going to see the country and would love to take the swing through Minnesota and jump over the Mississippi River, where it starts.

This is not entirely true...take a look online. You're thinking of flights.

It is my understanding that there were 2 chartered flights that filled up so fast, they opened up 2 more, and within days we got some of the last seats on the 4th flight.

I was told 4 planes was max they could accommodate.

Did the same, wasnt going to but when I heard that 3 planes had sold out, got worried.

You did good.

These people putting their own trip together are going to find out that making accommodations is not very accommodating. LOL

Green Bay is not like other venues.

It can be done, but it's not convenient. Too much hassle for OT ballers.

My dad and I talked about flying to Chicago on Thursday, catching a ball game at Wrigley on Friday (if they are playing), and then renting a car and making the drive out to the game. That would be an awesome trip. I'll probably not have many other chances to see the Tigers play at Lambeau. I have to be there.

Playing Blackwolf and Whistling Straits? I'm heading up a group of 6-8 and that's what we're doing, but on Sun-Tues. Been looking forward to this trip since it was announced in 2013!

Yes indeed! Looking into the Kohler Resort package.. also trying to convince my group to take a detour and play a 3rd round at Erin Hills which is hosting the U.S. Open in 2017.

It's going to be expensive.. but probably the best trip of my life.

We'll be heading to the game from Denver. I run some websites that are authorized Kohler dealers, so we have access to their facilities. Planning on making a trip into Chicago for a day or two and seeing Milwaukee. I hear Green Bay is a shite hole, and not to expect to stay anywhere near it.

Live in minneapolis now. Been looking forward to this game for a while. For those of you worried about the weather, it's gorgeous here that time of year. How and when can we get tickets?

How far out can you book the golf packages at Whistling Straits and Erin Hills?

Orly? The room I booked on Hotel.com last week for that week must have been in error.

A friend of mine from LaCrosse has family members with Packers season tickets, so she is going to see if they can get tickets to our game on my behalf.

So basically I've done nothing. I haven't even decided on what game to attend this year.

I have already told my wife if she plans something for that weekend it won't involve me. Lambeau Field is one of the sports venues on my bucket list and this game is too good to pass up. I will probably fly into Milwaukee and rent a car.

Why is it 5 hr shorter to drive than taking a train? Never been on a train.. Sounded fun untill I saw it was 18 hrs and driving is about 13 (both to Chicago)
