Having a hard time feeling "satisfied" with the win. I feel like we should be a hell of a lot more polished, especially against a bad arky team.

Did the bama game have that big of an effect on our performance?

Defense played lights out though.

The majority of LSU's wins in the SEC this year have come against teams who have or probably will fire their head coach. That's not too exciting.

LSU has always started slow for early day games, it seems. Think they were sleep walking the first half.

Impressed may not be the right word.

But a 23 point win at 11 am a week after an emotional loss is nothing to downplay.

The only gripe about yesterday is Etlings inability to consistently make the most basic throws to wide open receivers and poor tackling in the middle of the game.

Overall a solid performance.

Always a letdown after a good Bama game, which i predicted. Im satisfied in that it was a dominant win against a team we always let hang around. BTW, that's two solid wins over Arky for O. Compare that to Miles last two games against the Hogs.

That statement is true for nearly every SEC team this year

looked how they played last night....

A 3 touchdown win is about what I expected. We played 1 quarter of bad football at 11 am

Absolutely. The game against Bama was extremely physical, and the team was at much less than 100% coming into yesterday. Ask Saban how banged up his team was playing a better opponent yesterday.

Yes - Slow start but we dominated them in the 2nd half and beat the spread.

When you're a Tiger fan living in Arkansas, we take a win no matter how satisfying or not it is. The Miracle on Markham always rears its ugly head here in Arkansas the week of "The Boot" game.

Historically the bama game has been devastating to the team. That we were able to overcome that was a huge coaching victory. Yes it was a very impressive performance considering the circumstances.

They won so that's always a good thing. I don't think you will see a polished team this season. We are ten games into the season so what you see is what you get for the remainder most likely.

Yep. It was Etling also. He kept us from at least two more touchdowns and we had one drop in the end zone. That one was not All Etling though he was a bit late on the throw.

Yeah. Three touchdown wins over an SEC west opponent are sooooo boring.

Hard to not feel good about a sec win. May not have been the most polished the team has ever looked but i'll take a 20 point win against a sec west team every time.

LSU won by 23. The spread was 16 1/2. The only negative was the missed fg/pat's. How many times in the past has a shitty Arkansas team played their asses off and play us down to the wire?

It was very close to being a 47-10 game

You had Dillon drop a TD & Etling overthrew Moreau on what would have been a TD. Ideally both of those positions are upgraded very soon in the future.

Again, process> results
