you're pretty much guaranteed at any college football game to hear the following 3 statements non-stop throughout the game...

1. Throw it to the damned tight end
2. Blitz dammit, blitz
3. I knew we were going to run that play
. The fact that some of you fanboys think it only happens at LSU is what's comical.

I heard that the OL for majority of today's scrimmage was Hawk, Clapp, Pocic, Boutte, and Vadal. Stayed that was for most of the time, then Teuhema came in at LG and Clapp moved to RG.

Think they are just tinkering and experimenting with the OL and what not. Seeing who can play where if something should happen and all that.

Yeah, we sure wouldn't want Aaron Murray, Jameis Winston, Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck, etc playing QB for us. You know, guys who dominated as passers, AND were mobile, AND played in pro style offenses.

Oh yeah, and probably two of your personal favorites in Mauck and Flynn. Mobile QBs, pro style offenses, won championships. Seems like any true LSU tiger fan would be got damn ecstatic to have a mobile or dual threat.

You keep proving what I said about you a couple days ago to be very, 100% without question, true.

Was just told x. xxxxxx was the asst. in violation of texting a recruit. A certain mom accidentally outted him, but said mom very much loves LSU and we're still very in the mix to get her son.

fanboys

Why did people start saying this garbage in this context?
First of all it's meant to describe someone who is obsessed with nerd culture.
Second, it's a meaningless jamming together of two words. "Fan" is short for "fanatic". So if the connotation is that "fanboys" are zealous in following a particular person or (in this case) team... just call them "fans." Adding "boy" on the end doesn't make it derogatory. It just makes you sound like a jackass.

Yeah, the guy being paid $4+ mil. and the guy running one of the more successful college programs in the nation for a decade is "is full of shite", but Drama Queens on a sports forum posting snide/flame like remarks while hiding their ID are so "in the know" and "creditable".

Lighten up, Francis. The stats are probably off to some degree, but then they are probably compiled by some student something and handed to Miles as he walks up to the mic.

Some refuse to not find a way to appear to be angry bout something.

Not artfully stated for sure, so I beg your forgiveness on that Sir Lonnie. My only point was that Hiding or making up stats from a scrimmage, rather than just coming out and saying what they were, is a sophomoric and juvenile way of coaching and communicating to the fans. as if somehow giving out stats from a fricking scrimmage is going to make or break the season and is is akin to spilling the secret sauce to LSU football. Good grief.

What makes you think there is some serious effort underway to hide a scrimmage stat sheet when the 1st game is a 1-AA school? What in the stats do you take such exception to?

I just don't get the big deal over a scrimmage stat sheet, but each to our own.

So wealthy people or successful people can't be full of shite?

It's not that complicated dude... These are NOT stats from a 60-minute OFFICIAL game where there are a million eyes watching. It is a SITUATIONAL CLOSED scrimmage.

ETA: in this SITUATION Miles can say whatever he wants for whatever reason(s) he wants. Whether 100% accurate, guesstimated, or deliberately deceptive, he can say whatever he wants. It is a SITUATIONAL scrimmage with HIS team.
