For a diehard LSU fan like myself, no, it doesn't.

I love driving. I haven't had a chance to take my new Challenger on a road trip, so I'm looking forward to it.

They selling $4-5 12 oz drafts or something? What kind of food? Camel Back is your friend.

So you're a tailgating fan first. Then an LSU baseball fan. But only if you're drunk. I don't like fans like you. Stay home.

No it makes me want to drink more and party harder.

Leaving next Wednesday and I don't care if I come back.

You should grow a set.

Is there any sort of coordinated effort to designate a tailgate area for LSU fans? Nowhere but nowhere to tailgate, from all the reports I've read. AND the cops will be "cracking down"? Ugh. No thanks

So the reason you would go watch the Tigers play in the College World Series is just so you can have an excuse to drink?

That's pretty pathetic.....

I don't remember the price but they were 16 oz cans. I don't remember them being outrageously priced. As for food, lots of fried food and such. Mattress Factory (it's a bar and grill) has burgers and wings and such and big tvs. There's also a bar even closer than Mattress Factory called Blatt but it was always packed and we never went in.

why does availability of tailgating and alcohol have to change your support of LSU?

I'll be just as disappointed as the next LSU fan if we don't have an area to tailgate, but to let that make you reconsider the trip is a bit outrageous. A huge part of supporting LSU athletics is spending the pregame and post game hanging out at the tailgate, especially in Omaha for the CWS when there's so much downtime, but at the end of the day, it's all about seeing the Tigers play, and there will be plenty of other opportunities around the stadium to have a few cold ones with friends. In fact, I'd be willing to bet you could find a place to set up a small tailgate.

This sounds like it'll have to do. Also, I'm on a tight budget and can't stay more than a game or two, so if I could stay longer I would. but not much longer. I've got a life.

Yea man. It's horrible what they do to the tailgating folks. In an act of protest, you should sign your already paid hotel room to me for the 2 weeks. That'll show 'em.
