Anyone else feel that the beach ball incident tainted LSU's victory?

Play stops because some morons let a beach ball onto the field (think about the whining if fans had been throwing other items onto the field when LSU was in the field). Wells had to break concentration to deal with it, and misses an easy fielding stop about a minute later.

It was kind of a chickenshit play.

I think we would have won anyway.

I mean, I disagree, but do see your point.

Sometimes things bounce in your favor. It has been that way for us for awhile no.w Hope it continues all the way to the ship

You going to tell me the beach ball was the reason he lost concentration? Had nothing to do with seeing if one of the fastest guys in college baseball was trying to go first to third? He took his eye off the ball to look at Freeman and missed it. Had nothing to do with the beach ball.

So the beach ball is what made him over run the ball, and not him trying to prevent Freeman from going to third?

Tainted "that" victory? Heck no, It felt like we were down 5 runs, just the vibe from that game...I don't care how we won , call it Possum, Beach ball, Speed, errors;!a win in Omaha, is a win in Omaha....

You easily make the list of shittiest baseball posters, and threads like this is a reason why.

If the FSU's outfielders error was caused by a beach ball landing on the field then the guy shouldn't be out there in the first place.
