Jones 3rd Year was 22 Wins and NCAA. The last 50 years or so LSU has won at least 23 games 9 times and 6 of those were by Dale Brown. So anything in the 23 win area is almost new territory for LSU Basketball. Also it took Dale Brown 7 years to win 20 games.

Keeping Jones on would have been the equivalent of a death penalty. Interest in the program was the lowest in my fifty years as a fan. The best thing about Wade is he represents the severing of the umbilical cord between interference by Brown and Temple. As much as this pains me to say, well done Joe.
