Kendall Rogers just tweeted out this

quote:

COACHING BUZZ: We have notes on #Texas #UK #Purdue, and a NEW, big candidate for #Alabama

Interested to see if Dunn and/or Cannizaro are mentioned.

not a member, but dont be surprised if Texas looks at David Pierce, and Tulane comes after Andy

I wouldn't consider either of those a big candidate

AC will be a good college coach down the road but counting this season, he has exactly 2 yrs of coaching college baseball.

From Kendall's earlier tweets, he believes that Texas's target is coaching in the supers.

Texas will pay 50-100% more than any other current coach is making. Like LSU, Texas is one of the few schools where baseball is a revenue sport AND their state government/legislature is actually in the black and not bankrupt.

Texas is going to throw serious money at Sully.

yes. Florida is cheap, especially with baseball. I think he makes about 600k now. If Texas ponies up 1.5 million, no way Florida comes close to matching that. Plus, Florida doesn't invest in the program anywhere near what Texas does. Honestly O'Sullivan would be a fool not to take the job

Would he have to finish his suspension the first game next season with Alabama if he goes there?

Did you see the swim move he put on the crew chief to go after the other umpire? It was on Twitter. Highly recommend searching it.
