I have no idea how or if they do any type of Contraflow situations, but I’m assuming parking on the north side of campus will help you get out and go north after the game.

I’ve done UT/OU followed by LSU/UF twice But, I had to leave the first game at half time to make it work.

Did a sunbelt triple header one time too. ULL to NSU to MSU.

If you're serious, I'm going to have to ask why would you do such a thing? Clearly the first requires use of a flight charter. Just to leave a game at halftime? Outside of agents or scouts, I'm struggling to understand why anyone would attempt any of that.

Yeah, Nov 22, 1986.

Ole Miss vs MSU at 11:35 in Jackson, MS.

Then drove to Baton Rouge for the 7:00 LSU vs Notre Dame game.

Hell of a day.

Used to catch the doubleheader in Jackson. Long before the area around the stadium turned into Mogadishu. Also caught LSU/State morning game in Baton Rouge one year, then drove to NO for the USM/Tulane game that night in the Dome. There was an accident on the bridge over Lake Maurepas, and we were stranded for an hour. We had all of our tailgate stuff with us, so we grilled and drank on the bridge with around 50-60 people around us until it cleared.

Couple of buddies went to the Tulane/Ole Miss game last weekend, left in 4th quarter once decided and drove to BR. They were in their seats before halftime.

Does sound like a hell of a day. Not sure it'd be reasonable to even try today, even if locations and game times lined up that way, given what the gameday experience in BR has become since then.

p.s., I was in the student section for that ND game!

yeah, I'm eying one of the shuttle lots on the north side of campus. Normally I hate those, but not being familiar with the area, it may be the safest option for a reasonably quick escape.

Park downtown or as close to Cotton District as possible. Ride shuttle to game. Walk to car after game. The shuttle north of campus takes forever. Once in car take back roads. Hwy 389 North up to Houston and Pontotoc and hit the 4 lane going west to Oxford.

It would definitely be a daunting task now. Pretty sure I arrived just shortly before kickoff and parked in, what is now, Touchdown Village. Which would be impossible now.

Not SEC, but I'll be at Penn State - Michigan State game Friday night then at the Ohio State - Michigan game the next day later this year.

Do you have a hotel or will you be driving in for the MSU game? If the latter, that sounds exhausting.

What stadium allows you in with a cupped drink?

Semi old timers like me remember a time in the 90’s and early 2000’s a rumor floating around was that you could bring anything into VH as long as it was in a cup. 64oz thirstbuster of bourbon? Sure as long as it was cupped. Not true. Actually the cop that stopped my friend spotting his airplane bottle of bourbon in his pocket that wouldnt get a toddler drunk.

I've caught plenty of Tiger basketball and baseball games on the same day.

Never the kind of SEC double header you're talking about in the OP, though.

Not an SEC double header, but in 2011 when we played at West Virginia, that morning we saw Notre Dame and Pittsburgh in Heinz field before driving down to Morgantown for the LSU game.

Love this idea and good seats are cheap for the Ole Miss game as well. I’m trying to convince the guys I’m going to Starkville with to do it.

When I was a kid back in the 60’s my dad and I went to Jackson and saw LSU/Ole Miss in the afternoon and MSU/Bama that night.

Only SEC double-header I've ever done was on a road trip in the 90's to Auburn. I smashed a coed on the bus before the game, then met one at halftime and brought her back there and beat her up too

OP not sure if you’re doing this but I’m all set. Got tickets to both. Thanks for the idea. I just need some GT gear LOL. Or should I just wear my LSU kilt to the Ole Miss GT game too?
