Memphis or Jackson.

It's a long drive but anywhere else you might as well just sleep in a cow pasture.

Not sure what direction you need to go after the game, but West Point, Grenada, and Winona are very small but do have a decent hotel or two each...

batesville has some hotels if you are going north and Tupelo & Meridian are good if you are going east...

this is a huge game for them and time is pretty short, so if you find anything that is remotely acceptable, book it.

If driving in from Dallas, you should be passing through Jackson, MS, so just stay in the eastern part on the way.

agreed...unfortunately, the game won't end until after midnight, so that will put you getting to hotel at about 3AM. may not be any better choice at this point, though...

Great facility. Resort quality golf course. Worth the trip.

He's taking a private charter from DFW to Jackson, then gaking a limo to the game. He invited me to go, but I can't make it due to other obligations. That's what makes the cow pasture comments so funny.

Louisville, MS is 30-45 minutes southwest of Starkville. It worked for my group 10 years ago.

Louisville is on a state highway that takes you straight to Jackson.
