Trying to make plans and need an idea of the start time. Probably a 2:30 or 7pm kick off yeah?

Unless you think Fla/Ark or A&M/MSU is a more nationally attractive game, then LSU/Bama is at 7:00.

It will most definitely be a CBS night game. Has been the past few years.

Wouldn't be too sure on that. Cbs only gets one night game a year and LSU has 2 losses already.

I'm thinking CBS will go with A&M/Bama for the night game and we'll be 2:30 on cbs.

Nov 5 is the Night game, no matter what. A&M / Bama won't play Nov 5. so take your pick.

CBS already announced Nov 5th as the Day/ Night Doubleheader, one other day of the year is a Morning/Day Doubleheader.

Was not aware the date was already set. Bet they are wishing they could take that back now

Hell no they don't. LSU/Bama will still be one of the most watched games. Especially now that LSU has a new coach and Bama will most likely be undefeated. That'll be a huge draw. It's also in Tiger Stadium so I bet we play them close. I still have full faith we can win. My feeling about that will be much more cemented in either direction after I see how the team responds for Mizzou.

ETA: Also the way CBS double headers work is they get pick #1, then ESPN gets 2 (and I'm pretty sure 3) and then CBS gets the next pick, then ESPN fills out the rest of the schedule. So if we don't get picked for the CBS night game, we sure as hell will be picked by ESPN for a night game. There's no way they'd pass up that opportunity because they NEVER get to broadcast LSU-Bama in the regular season.
