You can always go but the baseball and softball teams are not going as a team

Truly surprising and disappointing season thus far for both

Obviously there's a shot. They have a ton of talent. Maybe they'll get hot at the right time.

No. Both teams are such much better than what they are and they aren't winning. Very disappointing spring all around and a very disappointing athletic year

This baseball team is capable of playing a good game, but until they prove to me they can play three good games in a row, I doubt they will make it very deep in postseason. Right now they are struggling to string together two good games in a row.

Baseball still has a slimmer and slimmer chance at hosting a Super Regional.

Softball at this rate will be shipped off to a Pac 12 site and they won't stand a chance.

Baseball will be lucky to get a regional if they can't find a way to pull out of this funk they are in. Softball is whole different issue. The injuries to Hoover and Waljasper have crippled them. I love the fight but just can't see them overcoming the injuries.

Both teams will be lucky to make regionals at this pace, sure as hell aren't hosting.

Let me get rid of the suspense for you. In the fantasy world in which this team even made it to a Super Regional, they would certainly not be hosting it. Right now, the question is whether they will be invited to the NCAA tournament. With a LOT of improvement that isn't going to happen in the real world, they could possibly even host a regional. No way in hell they win a regional or host a super.

This team is the worst LSU baseball team since 2010.

Agreed. They both still have a chance to be invited to the NCAA tournament, but neither one has a shot in hell of winning a regional, let alone anything more.

After the first 18 games in the SEC last season the LSU baseball team's record was 10-8.

Today after the first 18 SEC games our record is..................10-8.

I really thought we had a shot at a double baseball-softball NC this year.

Looks like we'll fall far short of that.

Best rates may be through Southwest.

Both can, baseball needs to find consistency though. Softball has the pitching just need to get the offense going.
