What a heartbreaking thing to read. My heart hurts for you and your family JoBo. As a parent, this kind of thing is easily my worst nightmare...burying one of my kids. I can't begin to know the pain you're feeling and don't pretend to, but I pray that you find a way to be the strength your family needs in this time. God bless.

I wish I could go upvote everyone‘s replies to OP 10x. LSU fans are a family and while we can’t replace what JoBo lost, we can be there for our brother. I can’t imagine what he’s going through but I hope this thread has helped he and his family a little bit.

JoBo... I cannot imagine the pain that you and your loved ones are going through. I pray that God comforts you and that the thought of your Son being with Him in heaven brings you some sort of peace during this unimaginably difficult time. Stay strong.

As the father of an 11 year old son I can honestly say that my heart breaks for you. I can’t imagine what you’re going through but I will surely pray for you. I’m so sorry that you’re going through this hell.

Meanwhile, there’s always that one heartless dickhead who downvotes posts like yours.

So sorry for your loss brother. Things happen for a reason and I don't understand why there are things like this in our lives that challenge us and try and tear us and our families down, but God has a plan and your son is looking down at how good of a father you were and he's smiling. Just remember he may be gone, but he's still with you all the time.

This answers so many of my own. So profound. DEEP-felt prayers to you, your family and his girl. I have no other words.

So sorry for you loss. Praying for you and your family. My heart aches for you. There is a singer named TobyMac that had a similar loss to yours. He wrote a song called 21 Years about his son. I share that because scripture and music help me process and grieve. Praying for you JoBo.

Read every word and thank you for sharing. Can’t imagine the pain.

My oldest just got his full license. Every time he leaves I worry.

Wish I had manic words to make your pain leave. All I can do is offer a prayer. Which I will now.

Peace be with you and the loved ones he left behind. Celebrate his memory and love those he loved in his time on earth. You need each other now. Let him share in your resilience and strength from afar. Be brave in his honor. Thank you for sharing and allowing us in at a very personal and painful time. We love you and wish you strength.

I don't often respond to such posts of fans taken too soon but your post compelled me to.

Nothing I can say can probably make you feel better in a moment of such deep sorrow. May God take care of you, your wife and his gf and rest assured He is taking care of your son. I am sincerely very sorry.
