Honest question. You know this for certain or is just speculation?

Certain. Someone I know is close to the St Amant program and she said they're willing to work with him to make it happen. Will it happen? Who knows for sure.

Now I don't know anything regarding Pearson and the Angels.

Y'all forgetting about the SS that we got from STM last year too. Isn't he supposed to be a stud? It's understandable that he didn't get to play this year in the infield considering who was in front.

Not that it really means anything and I don't know anything, but when everyone was subbed out in the top 9 Sunday woley came in to play 2nd, reid at 3rd and Smith at short.

Woley at 2B?
Get ready for a lot of balls getting through on the right side that haven't of late with Freeman's speed.

Why not Woley at third?

Woley will catch if Pap takes the offer. Smith at SS. Slaughter at 2nd. 3rd is open.

Reid can play third. Wasn't there a rumor that Lochridge might try to come back? If so, he could be an option there as well.

I'm guessing:

C- Woley/Coomes
1B- Bryce/Coomes
2B- Slaughter
SS- Smith
3B- Reid/Lochridge
LF- Duplantis
CF- Watson
RF- Cabrera (if he makes it)

If you had to, you could move Duplantis/Breaux to CF and Watson back to the INF and have some combination of him and Slaughter at 2b and 3b.

Not high on moving Watson from cf. Let's be hypothetical for a second. What about this.

C- Woley
1B- Cabrera
2B- Slaughter
3B- Templet
SS- Smith
LF- Dups
CF- Watson
RF- Pearson
DH- Bryce Jordan

Lochridge is going to ULL next year per his twitter.

My way to early prediction

C-Coomes/Feduccia
1B-Storz
2B-Reid/Woley/Templet
SS-Smith
3B-Slaughter
LF-Duplantis
CF-Watson
RF-Cabrera
DH-Bryce Jordan

I promise you one thing Watson is not moving from CF...he's the fastest player on this team and will be next year as well.

The Weber kid from Teurlings Catholic has some pretty good pop in his bat. He may possibly factor into the lineup. JMO.
His HS team mate, Cantrell (signed with ULL), would have been a very good one as well. Kid is a phenomenal athlete and plays a darn good SS.

Will Storz be a 2 way player? I see you have him at 1B. I know he can stroke but wasn't sure if we were just going to use him strictly as a P.

Storz isn't just gonna pitch?

I was assuming Feduccia at C which then might leave Woley to play third

I assumed he was only going to be pitching. I mean the kid can absolutely stroke though, so when he had Storz projected at 1B, I can see it. Plus he's 6'6".

At the plate, Storz uses his entire frame to muscle balls out of the park. Winning multiple prep Home Run Derbies, balls have been tracked as far as 430 feet, helped by his plus bat speed and violent uppercut swing. I see it shaking out like this

LF Duplantis
CF Watson
RF Cabrera

C Coomes/Feduccia
3B Slaughter
SS Smith
2B Templet
1B Woley
DH Bryce/Webre

With a rotation of Hess, Walker, Gilbert and Storz in the Hess role this year.

And I don't disagree. Just ironic

One of the reporters need to ask CPM this. I don't expect him to hit .300 next year, but there's a lot of upside in his bat if they give him a chance to develops it
