Alleva was definitely in Dallas yesterday interviewing Jones, so that's probably him on the plane.

This could potentially set off a domino effect for more coaching changes as well.
Sean Miller to Pitt?
Josh Pastner to Arizona?

considering LSU AD is one of very few schools whos athletics are profitable... id say yeah. money shouldnt be an issue.
I just checked out this guys wiki. looks like a legit winner. only registered double digit losses in two of 8 seasons in the Big East.
im on-board.

Alleva is going to Atlanta tonight...
...and the story I'm hearing is that he's meeting Jamie Dixon there.
I'm also hearing they're going to go for a deal with Dixon tonigh
If Alleva pulls this off what an ultimate to TCU. First we pawn TJ off on them and then we hire their number 1 candidate and alum.

roughly 3.5 hours on the ground in Atlanta.

Shite, 8 NCAA tourney births in 9 years, 9 consecutive 20 win seasons, dominated in the Big East for the past decade, and a coaching record of 238-77 (.756) You'd have to be dumb not to want this guy. An absolute HR hire.

Flew into Cobb County Airport which is much easier to get into and out of than the main airport in the ATL.

Why Atlanta if he coaches Pittsburgh, pardon my ignorance

Just had some bad chemistry. Started off really bad, but actually pulled it together and finished strong. If 22-17 and CBI champion is the "bad" year out of 9 seasons, that's pretty strong.

Spent way too much time this morning trying to figure out who in the world we would be talking to in Atlanta. This is certainly a 1000 times better than the names I was finding at school close to there.
