I hope everyone now understands that WW (if innocent) could have been coaching both SEC and NCAA tournaments!!! All he had to do is meet with his boss and cooperate (as stated in his contract). What about all of the BS about "WW can't meet because of the trial, FBI, judge, etc.?" All of that is a bunch of crap. It was crap last month, and it is crap this month. WW was foolish (if innocent) to allow this situation to fester into what it is today. Think about this, what was WW thinking when his team was loading the bus for the tournament? He should have said to his lawyer, "we have to find a way through this that allows me to coach my team." He failed to do this, and he failed his team. I'm disappointed in WW. No wonder the players are leaving for the NBA. Deep down, they knew this as well. ALL WW HAD TO DO WAS MEET WITH HIS BOSS. WE COULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FINAL FOUR AND WHO KNOWS WHAT.

Thanks for repeating the same BS you've done for the past month.

We get it, you don't like Wade and want him fired. Just don't celebrate when he is reinstated and we are in the final four, 2-3 years down the road.

More bad news, your buddy Alleva won't last another 13 months (if that).

WW was "on his way" to a meeting with Alleva and Dr Alexander when Alleva cancelled that meeting. Then, Alleva/FKA rescheduled said meeting to include attorneys and NCAA reps.

The first meeting should have taken place as scheduled and that it did not is the LSU Admins fault.

Joe Alleva was his typical dishonest bureaucratic bootlicking self and tried to frick over Will Wade, and that’s why they didn’t meet. If someone at your job accused you of wrongdoing and your boss asked you to talk about it casually in a short meeting, then right before you showed up to the meeting he said that the state police would be present and could use your statement against you in court, would you agree to the meeting? No? Then shut the frick up

Without representation
After he originally agreed and the meeting time was changed
With a 3rd party present and their counsel
While he is a witness in a federal case that he can’t talk about
While said boss has legal representation

Am I missing any other stipulations?

Because they (and FKIng) are contractually required to include the NCAA AND cooperate.

Best thing about this whole situation is that the true idiots have really shown their colors.

No!

The administration lost their nerve (never had the nerve) and bowed to pressure.

He is a witness in a federal trial. No attorney worth their salt would’ve advised Wade to meet with LSU attorneys and NCAA

When you sign a contract, you follow the contract. WW thinks he can rewrite his contract at any time. WW is REQUIRED to cooperate with the NCAA, LSU and the SEC in all investigations, etc. As an employee, he is required to attend any meeting his boss schedules. WW does not get to set parameters for his bosses meeting.

You couldn't be more wrong. He certainly had to do more than attend a meeting. He would have had to participate in that meeting.

Moreover, if Wade gets reinstated, a few of these guys who have declared will be on the team. Players and always declare and change their mind. However, if they miss the April 21st deadline, they cannot declare.

That includes many of the posters on this board that accuse people of lying.

Cooperate with who/what exactly? Is LSU under investigation?

and all YOU had to do was not make another post about this...

he was going along with his former legal council's advice. LSU's brass was stupid and thought that WW not meeting with them was an admission of guilt/wrongdoing and suspended him to cover their own asses.

enough posts about this, let's find out our coach's fate after tomorrow's meeting.

The next AD should severely curtail the use of message board trolls.

When he makes more than his “bosses” he sure can.
